Buttercream with royal icing and color flow plaque. This was my first time doing a piece this large. I had a little bit of color bleeding on her face.

This was for a Bridal Shower I made the carriage and a pillow and slipper cake. The bride's colors are ice blue and silver. I am very happy with this cake. WASC made from ball cake pan, fondant and gumpaste accents, used alot of super pearl luster dust to add shimmer :) TFL

I tried to make this cake look like a princess dress. The characters are chocolate transfers and the tiara is royal icing made from the instructions on carrielynnfields tutorial (thanks so much Carrie for the wonderful tutorial!) My daughter insisted the tiara must be painted gold with blue jewels. I think she was right!

I used 9" & 6" round sponge cakes covered in butter icing. Cinderella was made over an ice-cream cone. The bows and flowers were made from modelling paste.

For a three year old that loves Cinderella's castle. This was lots of fun to make. I'm hoping it will survive the 35 minutes that I need to travel to deliver it tomorrow morning.

My daughter changed her mind about a hundred times about what she wanted her cake to look like. So, I went with her first 2 choices, Cinderella and covered with flowers. 6" and 10" tiers, skirt was baked in a pyrex bowl. Cinderella is choc clay, bottom tier is raspberry choc chip, middle tier is coconut, top skirt is strawberry.

Used press for bricks on sides, gum paste penants, ice cream cones for turrets since the little girl wanted to be able to eat them. :)

Everything in this cake is edible. Cinderella's waist down is cake covered with fondant, while waist up is molded white chocolate hand painted with food coloring, and covered with fondant. Next time I won't choose chocolate for people's face anymore since it's so hard to let the food color to stay. Nevertheless, it's so much fun to make this one.

Cake dummies covered in fondant and piped with royal icing. My first attempt at bridge work. Shoes are gumpaste, tiara is royal icing, and tassles are a 50/50 mix of gumpaste and fondant. Tiara template is a modified version from Sugar_Plum_Fairy. Shoe template is from Boonenati. Special thanks to Dolcebaci, GamerGirl and CakeMommy for inspiring me.

This is done with a Deco-Pac Kit. I copied their picture like I'm suppose to only I don't have an airbrush which is how the grocery stores do it. It looks better this way.

I took about 4 days to prepare for this cake. From preparing the turret to the baking and decorating. This is my first castle cake but I am v pleased with the results. I baked a 8 inch round and mounted it over a 10 inch square.

DD had to have Cinderella for her birthday, she also wanted a girl mouse (these 4 yr. old clients are very demanding) which I didn't put in the picture b/c I made a yellow dress and hat which ended up looking like a rain coat. I don't know how cinderella did it, those mouse clothes are hard to make! Thanks to twoprincesses for the help with this one!

first time using the wilton castle kit. next time im charging double for all the trouble it is to put together! she picked it up from the shop, so this was the best pic i could get. i hope she made it to the party okay (she said she'd call me and let me know how it went) the customer is adding cinderella and prince charming figures at the party, but i don't know if i'll get to see it completed.

i didn't think I would get this cake together. It wasn't what I was planning. I change my mind a million times when decorating but I was relieved & pleased when it was finished. If anyone has tips for putting fondant on a sports ball, let me know. This was the 1st time I did string work since the Wilton class & I enjoyed doing it. Most of all, my friend & her daughter loved it & that's what counts. I made this for the company coming before the wedding. I got the idea from you great decorators here!

First I would like to thank Cambo for all the info she posted on her castle. This is a yellow cake with BC frosting. The flowers are fondant and the leaves and bushes are royal. The turret tops are covered in candy melts and I also painted on the chocolate around the windows and door then sprinkled on cake sparkles. I do have to say that it took ALOT of time to do this, but had no trouble transporting it. I placed the top towers and the turret tops on at the party. Please leave any comments (good or bad!)

Inspired by eneq. BC except for MMF doors, windows, glass slipper and clock. Tops of turrets are sugar cones covered in chocolate. Gold turrets were made with yellow chocolate and then dusted with luster dust. Stairs are RK treats covered with BC.
