This g-house kit was done by my 5 year old. I was in charge of the bag of icing but she told me where to put it! I let her do all the decorating and didn't interfere at all, which is a major accomplishment for me!!! I kept my mouth shut! She did great!

Christmas mice. Caramel Kisses on chocolate dipped cherries. Almond slivers for the ears. Sitting on an oreo. Piping gel for the eyes and holly. The only mouse worth eating. Real ones are too gamey.

I already posted this figure earlier, but I was so frustrated last night not to have time to add details on my scene, that I woke up early this morning! I hate leaving unfinished work and looove details as they always add the fun (here the crab)! Thanks for looking.

Copy of a wreath I did last year, but added bow after seeing some of the wreath cakes in the gallery. Like it with bow much better. Thanks for the idea.

10x10 square cake, red velvet with white buttercream. The poinsettias are made from royal icing. The center looks kind of bare, but I knew my writing would mess it up if I wrote anything in it.

Here's the cake that my son fell into and gave me so many problems this past weekend. It was pink and white marble, peppermint flavor and chocolate buttercream filling. I fixed it the best I could and you could barely tell where he fell into it. Of course, I knew where the mistake was.

Here's my Frosty. This is the cake that the boy pulled off the table. Luckily, I had already gotten a picture. It is French Vanilla with Cherry filling. The nose, eyes, mouth and buttons were Fondant. The hat I found in the baby section of Wal-Mart and the arms were pipe cleaners. I was going to make them out of Fondant, but with the luck I was having this weekend - I wasn't taking any chances. I just wanted this cake over with.

Not real happy with this one--clearly, it's been quite some time since I've had to write on a cake! But, it tasted great--that's what really counts in my book anyway. Double layer yellow with chocolate mousse filling. Bettercreme frosting, royal poinsettias

This cake is the second cake this size I've done. Its
3 12 x 18's put together. It actually started off rough. For a cake this size, I couldn't get it smooth, and plus the bc that I always use, for some reason today wasn't as creamy as it was when I made it yesterday. But I'm very proud of this. You may not be able to see it but there are little Christmas Trees and presents on the sides of the cake. Thanks for looking!
