Every month we celebrate birthdays at our Young Adults group at church. This was just a quick idea that I came up with. I usually try to keep them super simple since they are cut up and on plates before anyone ever really gets to see how I decorated it.

My version of a Christmas card for my team. Eggnog cake from this site, and fondant. Used foam stamps with gold lustre dust and sherry mixed with pearl lustre dust. Inspired from Cakes and Sugarcraft Autumn 2003 issue.

I made this for a Christmas gathering. It was super simple. I just used the triple star tip and used mini M&Ms for lighs and Skittles for ornaments! I put peppermint in the buttercream frosting- YUM. It was a chocolate cake from the CMD baked in Wilton's Iridesent Christmas Tree pan. I used the pan for the truffles at the party too!

I made these for some family Christmas gatherings. I used the No-Fail Sugar Cookie recipe and dyed it green for the cookies. I used the nesting star cookie cutters. I realized after they were done that I was missing one of the stars- had put it away with the other cookie cutters- oops! Buttercream holding stuff together and the mini M&M ornaments.

covered in BC, then fondant, filled w/mocha bc icing. Gumpaste/fondant pointsettia & I used pomegranate "seeds" as the seeds in the flower & along the rim of the cake at base area. They looked like little gems-try it! I made this in nov...I've been slacking uploading pics...

This is a cake I made for my families Christmas party and seeing as that practically everyone in my family but me is diabetic I had to cut the sugar in both the cake and frosting. That was hard but it was actually pretty good if I do say so myself. I made the tree with the ice cream cone. I love doing those... but they kill your hand too! :o)

I made a classic French Christmas buche de noel into a birthday cake for my sister (bday was Dec. 23). The log is a chocolate genoise iced with a chocolate whipped cream. For the decorations, I made meringue mushrooms (a must for any buche), pinecones (homemade peanut butter cups covered with almonds), and chocolate decorations (confectionary coating).

I made this for a Christmas Eve wedding. I set up the table decorations and the cake matched the decorations at the church beautifully. This is my first wedding cake and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
