This little guy was very fun to make - ALL edible! The tiers were 6,5,4, and 3 for the hat. Cakes were (btm to top) dark chocolate w/ rasp Italian meringue buttercream, white w/ strawberry Italian meringue, and white w/chocolate grand marnier buttercream. Hat covered in chocolate fondant. All decorations were fondant, arms were candy canes dipped in chocolate w/ piped chocolate "hands". Broom was dark chocolate fondant handle w/ fondant bristles and fondant bow. Holly and berries and hat trim all fondant.

This is a photo of a few cupcakes that I made for a holiday potluck. I am new to cake and cookie decorating but enjoy looking and getting inspiration from all of your photos. I used royal icing to make the snowflakes and let them dry for a few days before placing on the cookies-many broke. I made the snowmen with pretzel sticks to hold them up and other candy. Thanks for looking!

I am new to decorating but made these from many of your inspirational cookies using the no fail sugar cookie recipe and the antonia royal icing. Both recipes worked great and I had alot of fun! These were given to a few friends as holiday gifts. Thanks for looking!

I am 17 years old and learned to decorate cakes less than a year ago. This is a picture of a cake I did for Christmas at my Grandmother's house. The Christmas tree and the ornaments are made from royal icing. The sides of the cake are covered in almond bark with sliced almonds around the top edge of the cake.

My daughter married during Xmas time, this is her 25th anniversary's cake. Three tiers of yellow cake with homemade pineapple filling, yellow cake with strawberry filling and chocolate cake with bavarian cream. All with a splash of Grand Marniere. By the way I used MMF with a touch of Almond extract.

Just a simple Christmas cake. The tree is a sugar cone with buttercream leaves. Presents are a caramel, a starburst, and behind the tree, a couple of Ande's mints all with bows. Walkway is M&M's. This is as close to a gingerbread house that I came this year!

This is the first cake that I have done outside of my Wilton Courses. (The second being my New Years bottle cake). I finished this cake in one day as a last minute cake for a Christmas party. I really wanted to practice roses and this gave me the oppurtunity...and I figured the writing isn't terribly bad considering I'm a lefty!

No fail sugar cookies with Antonia's Royal Icing. I decided to write family members names on them to keep track of them as the disappeared. I think some took that just their own name, LOL! I even made one special for Santa.
