This is Devil's food chocolate with chocolate pudding and whipped cream filling, chocolate buttercream icing. I decorated this in class the night we learned reverse shells, rosettes, and chrysanthemums. I think those are my favorite borders so far!

These are little chocolate cakes covered in chocolate ganache and drizzled with milk chocolate and bittersweet shavings. They were made in a jumbo cupcake pan and the square ones were carved.

These cakes were for my two nephew's birthdays. This is my first attempt at a star decorated cake. I used the two oval pans from the course II kit for the cakes. They're Devil's food chocolate with buttercream/chocolate buttercream icing, chocolate mousse filling.

Martha's Italian Meringue buttercream (plus 6oz melted cooled choc & 3/4 cup of the darkest cocoa I could find & a squeeze of Americolor Chocolate Brown food colouring!!)

The cake itself was 18" in height! Each tier was 6" tall.

Bottom 2 tiers of Dark Chocolate cake filled with Milk Chocolate Buttercream, top tier of Banana cake with Milk Chocolate buttercream.

I used the back of a spoon up the cake tiers to make the plastered look. Snowflakes at top are chocolate fondant dried 3 days.

Just got my new WBH book so I decided to try and replicate the Whimsical cake in there. Woah, there's a LOT of colours in this thing!! So this is my first WBH cake, first stacked cake, first big cake, first "public" cake (ie not for family). Hope it tastes good...
WBH coffee-chocolate flavour, with crushed Oreo & whipped cream filling. Surprisingly not overly sweet. I hope the flavour of the cake/filling can combat the taste of the Wilton gel colour which is present in the icing.

German chocolate...a customer asked me to make this for him...when I quoted him the price, I had no idea how much work was involved! I don't know why this is the only picture I have, it's not even done at this point and it certainly looked better than this when I was done. Oh well. :)

German Chocolate cake for my hubby's Birthday. It was my first cake and I had disasterous results that I converted into what you see now. I keep telling myself it could have been worse! lol

This is the third time I have made this type of decorated cookie, and the first time I have made it into a basket. Made other cookies but these are the ones that turned out nice enough to give away. The first two attempts at making the glaze I about quit it was so frustrating, but I think I am getting it finally. haha.

I call this one a "leftover test cake" because we have an order coming up for a recipe we had not tried, so we needed to test it (not short of taste testers in our house) and we had loads of leftover buttercream in all sorts of colours from past cakes... best not to let them go to waste... hence the bad colour combinations...but the kids will eat and test all the same. Chocolate mud cake with buttercream

I've just completed another German Chocolate cake (hubby's favorite). Basically it's just a cake for me to practice with because I am still sooooooo new at this :) I did a big booboo by putting on my rosettes before my coconut topping (still learning from my mistakes). Thanks for looking. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D

I made this for my Nieces' birthday, but it started "melting" because it decided to be hot on the day of the party. I've never seen or heard of a S'mores cake, but she loves S'mores, so I figured she'd love this idea. - Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake, topped with fudge icing, Yellow cake "angled" slightly to look like a melted marshmallow, covered in buttercream, with MMF "burn marks".

I made this cake in the final class of my level 1 cake decorating (not a wilton class). It is supposed to be a groom's cake, therefore it is a chocolate cake with various shades of chocolate buttercream icing. I was pretty pleased with the result as I am still new to cake decorating.
