I made this castle cake for a little girl who turned 4 on Sunday. Her exact words when she saw the cake was, "IT'S GORGEOUS!!" ...she had the biggest smile on her face and just kept say, "you made this for me..you made this for me". Everything on the cake is edible, except the banner. All buttercream, yellow cake, with buttercream filling. Enjoy!!

I made this cake for a friend's daughter's first birthday party. I also made a little smash cake just for her daughter. It's completely edible except for the dowel supports.

This is a cake for a friend. It started as a castle cake, then her 5 year old daughter wanted to add sleeping beauty, a dragon and 3 ferries. She really liked her cake.

For my grandaughter's 4th birthday - a princess cake with 10" Chocolate cake with whipped ganache frosting, 6" pound cake with buttercream frosting. This cake was inspired by the Wilton castle set and photos posted on CC. Lots of fun and I learned alot about working on this kind of cake!

I made this cake using the castle cake kit by wilton. It was to go with the prince birthday theme for my best friends 1 yr old little boy. I also made a small pillow cake for him to get messy with. All buttercream with candy accents.

This is the 3rd castle cake that I am making... hopefully it is a better improved version of the previous 2 in terms of height of turret as well as the size of cake.

This is a 4 inch over 6 inch cake and there is a thin 8 inch at the bottom to hold the turrets.
Covered with fondant .Thx for looking

I used the Wilton Enchanted Castle Pan but did my own colors to reflect what my birthday girl wanted- Barbie Diamond Dream Castle Colors. I added some sparkles to the peaks then made matching cupcakes by stripping my bag. I thought I'd post this for fun, even though it's a Wilton design :-)

My DD wanted a castle in the worst way, because she is a Princess, she will tell you. So, I tried my hand at it and I loved making it. All of the flowers are fondant cutouts and the castle tops are royal icing, leaves are BC. Thanks for looking.

This castle cake was a lot of work. It would of been nice if the towers were hollow at the bottom. Transporting the cake was a bit tricky. Next time I will place the towers in the cake after transporting it.

Vanilla cake with strawberry and cream filling. Vanilla buttercream frosting, with fondant and candy accents. The turrets are made from cake, with an icecream cone on top. This particular castle was for sleeping beauty, who is just visible in the window...

Base cake 12", then 8" and 6" cakes. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting for filling and regular buttercream frosting on cake. The base of towers and the flags are fondant. Also has fondant flowers around base of castle and small fondant hearts under the windows but the (plastic) princesses are positioned so that the picture doesn't show them. The top of towers are sugar ice cream cones. (A 7 hour ride didn't help the frosting!)
