More cookies for our cookie trays. I forgot to mention in my last photo that I used MMF (LOVED) as well as royal icing to decorate the cookies. I got the idea for the christmas tree design from Cookieman! :)

I had been wanting to make this cake since I saw a picture of it and finally someone needed a shower cake! I used Candy Clay for the baby's face and bow, its much easier than royal.

I've made this one before but instead of the entire thing being made out of fondant, I used real lollipops, spice drops and mints.

The bottom layer is a 10" round and the top is a 6" round. This design is in the Wilton book "Celebrate with Fondant". :-)

I wanted to try making the chocolate candy clay that everyone was talking about and so here it is. I made the chocolate candy clay using white candy melts - surprising it turned out okay. So this is a trial and error cake. I was pretty pleased but need more work with my MMF figures. Thanks for looking.

I made this cake for my husband's birthday, his favorite candy. It is Chocolate Cake with a ganache frosting/crumb coat. The cake was covered entirely out of modeling chocolate, which was interesting. The writing was all done by an edible image.

These cookies were made by my daughter and I. We really had fun making them. A nice person on this web site helped me out with them. The cookie was made from the wilton roll out cookie recepie and I use white chocolate candy clay to decorate them.

I have the hardest time trying to find an idea for my husband's birthday cake, because he has so many rules! It must be chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting, no colored frosting (because he can TASTE it!) and absolutely, positively, no fondant!! It makes a cake decorator just want to WEEP!! Anyway, this is what I decided on this year...thanks especially to MoonicaLeigh, whose Valentine cake I shamelessly copied!

This is my version of the similar cake in the Whimsical Bake House. Snowman, trees and dots on sides of cake are chocolate/candy melts. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the snowman and trees are propped up a bit, for a "3D" effect. First time I tried this method. This is for my "Winter Fun Fest" aka holiday party, for work today.

Son's groom cake with chocolate icing and bowl holding chocolate dipped strawberries made out of candy. The cake itself was a white chocolate cheescake bottom layer with a brownie carmel center layer and a chocolate tofu mousse top layer. It had a white chocolate ganache and a strawberry sauce. It weighed 25lbs and used 8 pounds of chocolate...my son didn't even get a piece it was gone in less that 5 minutes...I have remade this cake countless times ... it took best of show at a local baking contest.

I posted a pic of this cake already but not with the names and number. This is the first time I tried to do this outta candy melts. I paintd them with nu silver luster dust. After piping them out, I piped stems on the bottoms so they could be stuck down into the cake. It worked awesome and the people LOVED'em!!! Yay!!!
