Birthday cake that I made for my friend's daughter. Her birthday was at a local
Planetarium so she requested a rocketship. The cake is a tiered fondant covered cake and the colors
were actually based on the colors in my pocketbook!

Made this cake for my niece's grade 8 grad. 2-layer 8 inch square, 2-layer 6 inch round. Had difficulty with the tassel, cracked and broke b/c I waited too long to attach it. The cap was dried hard but soon after delivery, it started to sag because the classroom was sooo hot and muggy. gotta re-think this method.

I did this for my son's 1st birthday. The #1 is covered in fondant. I attempted the Viva method on the sheet cake but it didn't work, but it still turned out good.

I made this cake for a candle party. It is a 6 x 4 chocolate cake. I covered with fondant and used a battery operated tea light candle. I painted the fondant with silver luster dust. The sand is crushed graham crackers and I made the chocolate shells.

This cake was chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. It was frosted with chocolate buttercream on the sides and white buttercream on top. I wanted to do so much more to this cake but had to end up using an edible image because I ran out of time. I tried to do the cupcake cakeballs by bakerella, but mine didn't turn out so well (as you can see) But my baby loved his cake so that's all that mattered =)

This was a dummy, done for the Huletts Spring Time Show 2008, in Pretoria/Centurion. It was to be a 2 tiered wedding cake, emphasis was on Royal Icing. It has Royal icing toothpick roses, in the hearts on the sides, my first time doing bridge and extension work, cornelli, pressure piped hearts, and the hearts on top of the cake. I am pleased to say I placed 2nd. this was left till the last minute and i did it in the 3 days before the competition.
Thank you for looking.

this was my attempt at the bra cake. It was difficult to do the bra. It wouldnt cooperate at all. I can say, I certainly learned a lot. I only decorated the cake, I didnt bake it. It was a simple sheet cake from Costco. I have a tiny little oven and literally cannot bake a cake that size in it. My co-worker loved it, so it was all worth it. TFL.

My first wedding cake made for friends Ian and Maggie. 10, 8, and 6" round tiers, all WASC with white Satin Ice fondant. The roses and leaves were made from fondant as well. I definitely learned a lot from this cake and had fun doing it. Thanks for looking :)

Was terrifying to construct. The reception venue called my cell phone after I left and very seriously told me I had set their cake up upside down and needed to come back to fix. laughing Clients loved it though.

My friend loved marilenacd's cake and asked me to make it with some alterations. All accents are fondant, and icing and clouds are BC. I would alo like to thank katlovescakes for the baby design on top. I tried to make a sleeping baby, but it just didn't look right.
