These are cheesecake balls. I had leftover cheese cake, so i decided to put it to use! Rolled the cheesecake in balls, then rolled the balls in graham cracker crumbs to keep them together. Then i stuck them in the freezer for about 30 min. Next i covered them in chocolate and topped with a chocolate flower! They were yummy!!!

Pumpkin Spice cake balls. I was quickly running out of orange candy color, so the cake balls progressively got lighter. The stems are mini chocolate chips.

Chocolate cake mixed with a bit of espresso and Starbucks coffee liqueur and a bit of cinnamon...portioned out using #40 disher/scoop...formed into shape and toothpick inserted into bottom...froze briefly then dipped into white chocolate and toothpick inserted into a hole cut into a white chocolate covered sugar cookie to rest...fondant/gumpaste handle attached while chocolate was still tacky...topped with caramel swiss meringue buttercream...inspired by all the awesome truffle items produced by Bakerella!

Chocolate cake truffles w/ strawberry flavored white chocolate. I sprinkled sugar crystals over the blue swizzles to give it a sparkle effect but don't know that the picture shows it well. I was really pleased w/ how it turned out & had fun doing it.

I made this cake for our friends' son, 14. He plays tennis professionally. I had only 1.5 days to make it, and his hands were falling apart as I assembled it - they had only 12 h to dry. Had to glue them with chocolate. Very challenging, but done!

Dark Chocolate Cake with Wild Cranberries and Dark Belgian Chocolate Truffle filling and Italian Cream Cake with Pineapple White Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream. Covered with chocolate fondant. Statue: crispy rice, white chocolate, fondant.
All decorations are edible!
30 servings.

These were a lot of fun to make. The body is a chocolate cake ball. The legs were pretzels covered in chocolate than 1/2 dipped in yellow colored chocolate. The heads were made out of molding chocolate. Than the rest was fondant accents and the eyes piped on with buttercream. Thanks for looking!

Brownies dipped in white candy melts. The tiny flowers are made from Pettinice fondant, dusted with silver and a dragee in centers. My daughter says they look like babies sucking on a pacifier! The boxes I made from very heavy, pearly white cardstock from paperandmore. It's really very pretty paper, but it doesn't show up in the photos. (FYI, to make the boxes I used the new Martha Stewart scoring board. Instructions come with the board.)

Turkey is a cake ball. Head is a reeces peanut butter whooper ball, beak and wattle are royal icing. This is one of Bakerella's ideas.

Inspired by Bakerella, I did these for a co-worker that needed something fun to take to Thanksgiving. The heads are Sugar Babies candy (was going to use peanut butter Whoppers but I ended up making smaller truffles and needed a smaller head). The beaks are those candy-coated mini chips, eyes are small Wilton pearl decorations. TFL!

4 kinds of cake truffles (brownies covered in milk chocolate, red velvet with cream cheese frosting covered in dark chocolate, WASC with raspberry jam and chopped almonds covered in white chocolate, and pumpkin spice with cream cheese frosting covered in white chocolate tinted to a shade of orange). Hard to believe, but this has about 60 truffles in all. The cone has a 4" wide base and is 9" tall. There's obviously lots of room for improvement. Next time around I will work on getting a smoother chocolate coating and will maybe make the truffles a bit smaller so that they will nest together more closely on the cone.

Although I did not coin the term "Cruffles" for cake truffles, I love the name. I made Cruffles in the form of a Christmas tree. Glued it together with chocolate, MMF star and M&M ornaments. I made this for my mom's birthday. She loves my Cruffles!
