I got the idea for this cake from cakesbyallison's bunnies and bows cake. Not only was her cake beautiful but she also gave me pointers which were very useful. Chocolate 10 in bottom layer (4 in deep) and white cheesecake 7 in top layer ( 4 in deep) covered in fondant. Bows, #1 and bunnies are 50/50 fondant/gum paste and buttercream border. I had trouble with the fondant cracking but it turned out great for my neice's first birthday party. Smash cake was a 6in to match the top layer but with bc.

this is a 6" cake w/ a 4" cake cut up on top to give the roof a slant. Everything is mmf even the bunnies. I was wanting the roof to look like it had easter egg shingles w/ an old fashioned looking chimney I hope that's how it looks - now that I see the pic not so sure. Anyway, was a very time consuming doing the roof but other than that a pretty simple design..

The bunny heads are only about 2x1" so they are very tiny cookies. All are done in glace with RI eyes and sugar accents. Thanks for looking!

Various NFSC for Easter. More similar cookies on other side so basket could be pretty from both sides of the buffet table. I see a few smudges from transport, but overall think they look OK. I am a critique subgroup member and welcome all comments. TFL.

Little girl on invitation had on bunny ears, and her birthday falls close to Easter so I decided to use my new patchwork cutters. Thanks Nick! MMF with gumpaste accessories.

I entered this cake in the Queen City Sugar Arts Show. It won Best of Show for my division (Intermediate) and first in the Novelty Division as well. I had a lot of fun dreaming up this one.

I made these about 8 years ago for my sister, for her birthday. Her birthday always falls around Easter. The bunny cake is actually a tradition in our family. My mom used to always make one. It's decorated with cococonut. The egg cake is something I made up on a whim. The "grass" around both cakes is dyed coconut, and of course, there are peeps and jellybeans.

Bunny cakes are a tradition in our family. I used coconut to decorate as the "fur", jellybeans for the eyes and nose, Twizlers for the mouth and whiskers, and paper for the ears. The "grass" around the bunny is dyed coconut.

This was for my daughter's tenth birthday. We have always liked the rabbits from the Wallace and Gromit movie so I made some to hold the letters of her name

Yes, this is a carrot cake with delicious Cream Cheese frosting, but I think the rabbits don't even like the frosting that much. They're after the carrots!!

This cake started out as a 12x16x2 sheet. Cut it in 1/2 (long ways) and stack into a 6wide x16long x4high loaf. Letters are cut from gumpaste w/cookie cutters; color is petal dust brushed on dry. Little critters are gumpaste hand molded; b;flies are wafer paper; daises are royal icing.
