This was a cake I made upon my little's sister's request for a bright colored girly cake. It was a chocolate cake with chocolate filling. It was my first attempt at a two-level cake. I fnished it off with sparkles. As you might be able to tell I got carried away with decorating it, hince the name "overdose"

This was made for my husbands boss. She is just about the nicest lady you could meet. The daisies are made of fondant, pressed into the buttercream, then airbrushed with yellow, orange and pink.

I made this cake for my co-worker's daughter. I was inspired by a cake
from sjlarby. The top is a 3 layer 4 inch yellow cake with raspberry
filling. The bottom is a 2 layer 6 inch chocolate cake with raspberry
filling. The shapes and bow are made from fondant, all buttercream
icing. This really has to be one of my favorites thus far!

I got this idea from a small cake decorating book....I can't remember the name though. This was a really cool looking cake. If I do this again, I need to work on my spacing....It is all buttercream...

10" and 8" white cake with b/c icing and flowers. I still need to take Wilton II so I can master some new flowers. Here a few I attempted, I need some practice!

<center>This cake was inspired by The Whimsical Bakehouse book. Unfortunately the only pictures I was able to take were after the candles were lit and all the kids had tinkered with the frosting (notice the buttercream parts that are falling). This cake was a lot fun to make and I really liked how all the bright colors came together.

I had some trouble with the design for this cake as the customer wanteda a topsry turvey cake in bright green, hot pink yellow and purple and wanted it to look funky !!! It was made with 2 each, 14x3in, 11x3 & 8x3 cakes. The bottom and top tiers are Mississippi mud and the middle is white choc mud covered in fondant and decorated in fondant and gumpaste!!

We don't like pastel colors and we didn't have a real theme for our daughter's first birthday. I guess we ended up with the theme of "pink!" It's pink buttercream with marshmallow fondant flowers made with cookie cutters.

Birthday cake for friend's daughter's 1st birthday designed to match the hugs and stitches-themed partyware. Everything done in buttercream - looking back would have saved loads of time doing designs in fondant, but oh well!

This was my son's first birthday cake. I've been wanting to do this style cake since the day he was born and finally the day came! I'm satisfied with the way it turned out... many things went wrong but I learned from them... not sure if I'll ever attempt this again (maybe for $1000 haha)... his matching smash cake is in front.

Cake covered in MMF and decorations are MMF and buttercream frosting. Cake was for double baby shower at work. My co-workers are due 3 weeks apart and are both having boys. Thanks to the other CC members in this forum for their inspirations with the clothesline cakes, "Oh Boy" and "heaven above" sayings. It was a hit! I am uploading several pics to show side detail as well.

Bottom layer is 12 inch round Chocolate with Vanilla Cr Cheese filling, and top tier is 8 inch FR Vanilla with Chocolate Cr Cheese filling. All frosted in
buttercream. The stripes were done all individually in BC using no 5 tip and then applying VIVA method as they crusted. Piped BC flipflops around top of bottom layer, and the no. 2 topper and hibiscus on top are made of chocolate and sprinkles. Hibiscus candles for the Bday girl. The family loved it and I think it turned out really cute too, TFL!
