Made for a school auction with an Italian theme. HUGE cake was 31 inches tall. Base is 4" tall, 8" round. All six floors are 3.75" tall and 6" round. Top level is a 4" tall and 4" round cake dummy. Covered in fondant and pressed with brick impression mat. The pillars on the floors were candy sticks (8" lengths) cut to skewer the cake board floors. All fondant accents. Thanks to CakeDiosa for all her help and suggestions! TFL!

Three-tiered chocolate cake with whipped chocolate ganache (8-6-4). The turrets were made of pretzel rods covered with mmf. The brick pattern was done using Duff's new line of impression plastic mats. The inspiration for the design came from a picture of a princess bouncy house (pink brick castle). TFL!

For a friend's mother-in-law's birthday. She asked for the ivied brick wall and, even though I live in a suburb of Chicago, I had NO idea what she was talking about!! Oh, well, I'm into baking, not sports. LOL Scratch white cake w/buttercream.

Yellow butter cake with chocolate buttercream covered in fondant. Made to look like the acutal house. Fondant brick is chalked with different colors to achieve the variations of colors in the brick. Made on memory for I did not have a picture to go by. Made for my daughter's housewarming party. She did not want it cut so I made a sheet cake to cut. I took the cake to church and put in the auction to raise money to help kids go to church camp.

This was a cake for my mom's bday. She loves the wizard of oz. It is made of mmf and the inside has 5 layers, that were colored like the rainbow. This was my first time ever using fondant, so I tried to keep it simple.

Wizard of Oz cake for my daughters 5th birthday, all buttecream with rainbow done in color flow, shoes were chocolate, emerald city was done in hard candy (i used water bottle ice cube trays made of silicone for the molds)....searched high and low for something tube shaped and found these...silicone is great because its stands up to very high temps. I had to have the emerald city transparent and glossy kind of like the real thing. Will be doing cupcakes to match soon!

For my mom's birthday! It's a 3-layer 6in cake frosted in buttercream. I used fondant for the flowers, yellow brick road, and shoes. To make the road, I used a brick impression mat. For the shoes, I sculpted them by hand, then brushed them with water and "dipped" them in red cake sparkles (by Wilton). The emerald city was made by piping melted chocolate onto wax paper. After popping the chocolate in the freezer for a few minutes, I brushed it with pearl dust.

This was made for our son's 3rd birthday. My husband sculpted the Hulk out of rice cereal treats and then covered it with candy clay. The bricks were cereal treats covered in fondant. To get a brick and mortar look, we just pieced the fondant rectangles over the buttercream icing.

Made for my friend's son who was turning 4. She had found a similar picture online and fell in love with the design - I don't know the original creator, but they are AMAZING! All figures are handmade from fondant and/or gumpaste. This was quite a project, but I was thrilled with the way it turned out!

I designed this cake topper for a demo I was teaching on how to use the baby mold and create a christmas themed topper for a cake. It was a lot of fun and turned out really well. Everything is gumpaste and fondant with the exception of the cardboard cake circle that it is all sitting on.

This birthday cake was so much fun! Thanks to all the great CC idea's & especially sillyoldpoohbear for her inspiration. I would have loved for spiderman to turn out a little better. I'm new to the fondant sculpting, does anybody know any good tutorials? BC with fondant accents, I made shorter layers as per customers request. TFL
