I was told that the invitations had teddy bears in raincoats, but that was all of the guidance given, other than it was for a boy baby. As it turned out, the decorations matched the decor almost perfectly! 8", 6", and 4" cakes

My take on Lindy's Baby Boy Shower Cake. I love the colours. Unfortunately, my fondant bear was too heavy for the top block and caved that corner in a bit. Oh well, learned my lesson for next time.

This cake was done last year for a teenage Boy, who goes to Milan every summer to practice with the AC Milan team. He's an avid fan and soccer player and scouts have already talked about him. Marble cake with buttercream deco. Logo was done with piped BC. His comment (15 yrs old):
"I will not cut this cake. I play with soccer balls, I don't destroy them"

This was for a cousin's baby shower. I used buttercream to pipe the little baby, and used a brush dipped in hot water to smooth him out.

This cake was a hit with all the guests. I have done many cakes with the different colored ribbons, customers seem to love the look. Especially little kids!! It's very easy to do.

I was asked to make a cake for a little boy turning 6, they just said he likes videogames and stuff like that so I did some research and came up with this one, I wanted to make more similar to real one but ran out of time!!, spent quite a while on the control also.

This is my version of the oh so famous clothes line cake. I wanted to use both blue and green frosting so I tried not blend it to much. I used chocolate trasfers for the clothes. I need to work on writing straight.

My nephew is a motorcross nut - he's only 6 but already has his own gas powered motor bike. He wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and his mom brought me the fake trees and toy bikes to put on top of the cake. The dirt bike path is a mixture of crushed nilla wafers and chocolate graham crackers. The birthday boy was thrilled!

I did this cake for my son. It wasn't quite what I had in mind but it looks cute. This is a fruit cake, with the teddy bear, flowers and booties all made out of flower paste. I made the collars with royal icing. I think the floodwork could have been neater.

This was my first attempt at the Wilton Baby cake. I wasn't thrilled with how it turned out. I'm anxious to try again and this time, have the baby directly on the cake board. This one had to feed 40+ so I had to put him on a base cake (11X15). White base cake with BC...8&10" rounds with a layer of blue buttercream icing & MMF on top. All MMF except for the diaper pins.
