10" & 6" yellow cake filled with raspberry and all covered in fondant. Ribbons and trim non-edible, everything else is. Booties are painted with luster dust and the plaque is fondant with rice paper over top, once again dusted with luster dust. Idea was based on a cake from thecakestore.com.

3-D pick-up truck made from a chocolate 12X18 chocolate cake, iced with the Dream Whip buttercream recipe. Many thanks to cakemommy as her 3-d truck cake was the major inspiration for this one.

9 x 9 x 2 Coconut Rum Cake with Rum flavored BC for my two friends, who just gave birth to their 2 beautiful Baby-Boys. It is my first Edible Image and I fell in love doing edible Images LOL. I only printed out a 5 x 7 and used the rest of the sheet for the sides of the cake with the words "Adorable", "Lovable", "Enchanting", "Endearing"

Here is my take on that great clothesline cake. I finally had the opportunity to make this one for a friend at our church baby shower. I SHOULD have taken photos before I left my house (and tried but the batteries died), because the BC cracked before the shower. I did a little fix job, but it doesn't look as nice as it did at home. I was sick about it, but I got rave reviews anyways. This was my first shot with any kind of fondant, and I used MMF for the clothes. I had a blast doing it!!

This is a white cake with a banana mouse filling. I cut the sheet cake to make it look like a boat. Everything is iced with buttercream with some fondant accents, ie: arms, nose flag, plaque in the back. I got the idea from the Cake Corner web site, thanks! Thanks for looking!

I was asked to do a cake from the Hugs & Stitches invitations, and got all excited, and then all the mom wanted was polka dots on the cake. Doh, how boring! So, I had a little fun with the smash cake instead and made a little rocket. :) Thanks for looking!

This is a picture of my son's 16th birthday cake. I made the cake chocolate. I used a small tip to map out a road and left that portion uniced. I then iced green with a star tip all over. I added lines on the road with white buttercream. I bought the little cars at the store. They were a perfect size. The right top corner has a little hill made from the top portion of the cake that I cut off to even it out. He loved it and it was yummy too!

Buttercream & airbrush. I cut out the shape of the picture from card board and blocked the area that isn't black. After spraying black, I used a projector to draw buzz and then added his coloring. This technique is great for doing neon colors to really make them pop!

The cow was hand painted on rice paper with petal dusts, then placed on a fondant backing. All French vanilla flavored cake with raspberry buttercream filling. Base is also vanilla/raspberry cream. I did this cake for a friend's baby shower. I learned a lot about fondant, especially to bring extra. And I learned not to place a cake in sunlight because by the time it came to serve it, the arm had fallen off. 3-D bear pan on top of a 1/2 sheet.

UGH.....this really didnt come out like I wanted it to. I tried MMF and it was a horror!!! Ended up having to use regular fondant that I had at home (thank goodness) I got bulges and it wasnt as smooth as I really wanted it to be....but everyone seem to like it. I guess when you see the defects you feel eveyone else sees them also. The decorations (my favorite part of the cake) were all edible except for the airplane and blocks. If you have any suggestions (good or bad) please let me know! Thnx!

This cake was fun to do. The animals are made of fondant as is the bow. The rest is buttercream. I had problems with the BC cracking on me as I didn't have enough support on the top tier. Also dry weather. I'm glad this is over. I started on the cake and the shower was cancelled at the last minute, but rescheduled again. Thank god for fondant and freezers! The inspiration of this cake was by ButterflyCakes with 2 diff cakes in the gallery. And the animals are from mother to be's nursery bedding.

I did this one yesterday morning (Sunday)...had a hard time trying to figure out what I was going to do. I was out of ideas but I did have my four colors made up and just decided to wing it. The plane was traced on by punching holes in the picture and placing it on the cake. I then dusted cocoa powder over the holes to get the outline to show up clearly. Love the bright colors but not the overall design. Turned out to be the best tasting cake I've made to date, though!

I absolutely love the design of this cake and give 100% credit to Amylou for her creative design that I copied from. I had to try it out myself and it was a huge hit. All buttercream, yellow cake with strawberry filling.

This was my first clothesline cake. My free-hand laundry basket turned out a bit big and had to take it off of the top of the cake and place it off to the side which smudged the decoration on the left. But I think it turned out pretty well considering it was 2am when I finished.

Cake I did for my son's 3rd birthday. First time working with color flow (outside of the butterflies I did in Wilton II class) wish the windows came out better. I liked the way the cake came out though. Spiderman is a candle.
