Construction cake I made for my son's 2nd birthday. It's all buttercream w/ toy trucks, men, and signs. It was my first time making grass and I was very rushed, but I really like the way it turned out. And the birthday boy loved it!

I made this cake for my son and his friend, their birthdays are only 4 days apart. They both love skateboarding so this is what I came up with, a whole bunch of skateboard company logos on top and around the side of the cake. It took a lot of time to do the transfers and get them on there right but I was really happy with the way it turned out and they loved it!

I made this cake for my son's first birthday. A lot of love went into it. His dad used to be a submarine officer so we had a submarine party. My father in law has a laser and he made me an acrylic cut out of the submarine that I had drawn for the invitations and decorations. It made making the submarine very easy. I think there might be a lot of uses for his laser in cake decorating. He thinks he may even be able to cut fondant out with it. We haven't tried yet though.

Baseball cake I made for my nephew's 11th birthday. My husband gave me the idea not to
level off the top layer cake so it would look rounded like a baseball sitting in the grass.

This is a sailboat cake I made for a friend's son's first birthday. It didn't turn out how I had imagined, but I did my best! Sails were originally out of gumpaste, but I broke them before I had a chance to attach them to the dowel. The plaque is made of gumpaste.

This cake is for my son who is turning 3. He is obsessed with dinosaurs right now. My husband wanted to help with the cake so he did the airbrushing. We had a good time doing this together. I don't know if I am thrilled with how the cake looks overall, but my little guy loves it and that's all that matters to me! TFL!!!!!!

WASC that I filled with buttercream and then carved into the shape of the helmet. I then outlined it in black and filled in with star tipping. The red color was a hard color to get close to the IronMan color. It is a combination of red, burgandy, black and brown. My nephew loved his cake.
