I made this for my Grandson's 2nd Birthday. He loves Thomas! BC with fondant plaques. I am making my Niece's wedding cake in June and she has chosen a hexagon shape, so this was a practice for the wedding. Thanks for looking.

White cake with icing I mixed with lemon curd for good taste underneath it all. Marshmallow fondant ice surface, with fondant walls, held up for a day with water bottles for shape. The image colors are all hand drawn with edible markers fine tipped. The nets were made with royal icing. For a 7 year old birthday.

I was asked to make a Fire Truck for a 3 year old who is a Fireman Sam fan, and luckily had Debbie Brown's book, which I used for inspiration. The customer was happy, and I was quite pleased with the result!
Although I would love to hear any tips on how to colour sugarpaste with such strong colours and at the same time not compromise the sugarpaste consistancy - the red was a nightmare to work with!

This was a cake made for two brother sharing the same birthday. One loved the TV character of "Roary the Racing Car" whilst the other adored "Thomas the Tank Engine" - the challenge was to keep both the same size to avoid any tears at the party.

I made this for my friend's son's birthday. Not very challenging, but it was time consuming and a good way to build up my hand muscles. :)

This was for a little guy that is totally obsessed with Brett Favre. He didn't want "Happy Birthday" on his cake, all that was important was the number 4 and the correct colors. too funny! Chocolate cake, buttercream icing, used airbrush for the green background.

I made this last year for my son's 3rd birthday. The head is supposed to be standing up but
it kept falling down, I tried everything to get it to stay up. So, I just left it down. This is the first cake that I have ever made like this using real icing and whatnot.

This is the finished cake of an already posted preview 3 days ago.
Birthday cake for a 2 years old boy! I used the old 1974 Wilton pan lion cub to make this cake. It's sponge lemon cake, fully covered and decorated with MMF. Whiskers are made with rice vermicelli. If you like, I can email you some pictures I made while I was making it (kind of pictorial)
