Someone wanted cowboy theme and I copied cmmom's cake from here (thanks cmmom). She gave me a copy of the plates with bandana edge and cowboy and so I thought it would be great to get the detail of the bandana that I had laying around the house too. :-) Thanks for looking!

This was going to be my entry into the county fair but I realized it wasn't supported properly to stay standing for a week. It was a chocolate cake with chocolate fondant. Although I did not get to enter it into the fair, everyone that ate it and saw it loved it! I know I can do alot better than this one...

I did this for my daughter's 5th birthday. Since it was three years ago, I don't remember what I had originally planned, but I do know that I wound up looking at one of the napkins and free-handing Dora and Boots on the cake while holding the napkin in my left hand! I believe I pulled an all-nighter on this cake (we had only moved into our house a month earlier and I was still going through boxes to find all my kitchen supplies!). BTW, the flowers are store bought.

14" double layer iced in buttercream. Cowboy hat is also cake covered in mmf. All accents mmf with silver dragees. The brim did not seem to want to dry but overall I really liked this cake. Boots were made with a chocolate mold and dusted with cocoa for an aged look. They were extremely heavy and used quite a bit of chocolate. As always, inspiration came from cc. Thanks!!!!

two tiered dora cake in mmf. wanted to do something different. really sick of those dora shaped pans. covered cake in mmf. made the sun, swiper etc. of mmf. used small dora stamper toys found at a.c. moore for a topper. Lots cheaper than the candle and the kids can play with them after.

This was for my niece who is a hick. I wasn't too happy with these. The pink color on the sheet cakes separated later. You can see the specks of pink in the frosting.

These were made to go in a cookie bouquet. The theme was "Boots & Bobos" - so the completed bouquet and pics of the "bobos" will be in the adult gallery. :-) Made for a 1st anniversary present. Sugar cookies with glaze and decorated with royal.

This was my daughters Birthday Cake. I know, it is very busy looking but I had alot of fun with this. I made so many fondant pieces, that I just had to put them all on!
This was my first cake like this. I have not done to many fondant cakes and I realized that when I was putting it together! Oh so many problems!
My daughter loved it(she screamed!) All of the guests were very amazed which made me feel oh so good!
Dora kept falling over(it was a toy) so I had to put cookie sticks behind her to hold her up

Preschool bday cake for my niece and 4 classmates. I wasn't even going to attempt writing all their names on this half-sheet, so I made chocolate balloons with their names on it instead. My SIL will insert the balloons into the cake at the party. Hope she gets a good pic for me! Dora, Diego, and Boots are fbct's. Cake iced with Pastry Pride.

My first layered, stacked cake. First time to do anything with fondant. And first time to do chocolate transfers. I'm happy with it even though it isn't anywhere near perfect. Someday I'll get the courage to cover a cake in fondant. Oh, it is DD#1 4th birthday cake. Hope she likes it when she gets up tomorrow.
