My friend is sending her son to boot camp and she wanted a simple cake that was not too fancy so as to not add pressure to him but help celebrate his send off. (The fancy cake will be when he completes it) So we went with a cheesy "Boot" and "Camp" design to keep it fun. Wish I would have made the marble camo cake inside though but I didn't think of it until too late. MMF for the accents.

This cake was made for a couples birthday who celebrate just a couple days apart. The boots are chocolate cake hand carved and covered in fondant and the high heels are made completely out of gum paste and the leopard print is hand painted on them as well as the band around the bottom of the cake.

Jamie asked me to use the pattern from her cowboy boots to design her wedding cake. The top tier and middle tier have the pattern from her boots on it. I then used an edible image to create the Mr. & Mrs. sign, and I backed it with a fondant piece I made. 3rd tier I placed hand cut fondant stripes, and the bottom tier has a quilted pattern. The entire cake has over 150 Swarovski crystals that match her topper. All buttercream with fondant accents. Photo by Kevin Paul Photography

A cake for my friend's western-themed baby shower. It's a strawberry cake covered in chocolate ganache. I used the brush embroidery technique to create the top border and the paisley designs. I used KathysCC template to make the baby cowgirl boots. John Deere - 10 inch White cake with Buttercream icing. Fondant fence & John Deere logo. Boots made shaped from RKT and covered with fondant. This was my first pair of fondant boots. Also, I used the template by CC member, dynee.

* This was a surprise for my cousin who was home on leave! RCT boots and hat covered in fondant. Fondant flag all sitting on a 1/4 sheet...BC! I wish I would have thought to color the icing green! Silly me!

I finally made a pattern for the style I liked for cowboy boots & modified it for a biker boot. This is about 3 1/2" high. I mixed fondant with Tylose to avoid trying to make black gumpaste. Holding up good!
