This was made for an annual fire department dinner. Everything is cake or fondant/gumpaste. I blocked out the name of the department, on the chiefs hat. I forgot to ask their permission to put the cake online. I was very unhappy the way the cakes themselves looked. Just could not get the buttercream to smooth properly. And I still hate fondant. But they loved it!!

Swiss Chocolate 3 layer cake...Chocolate Buttercream... The little red boot and candy canes were last minute accents for a last minute cake. On a side note, on the way to church, my purse took a flying leap and smashed the cake lol. So I did what any good cake decorator does and THREW IT AWAY...omg I am sooo bad with imperfection lol...I just told everyone I was too busy with orders for a cake that nite, and luckily I had bought a huge fruit platter to take as well ...whew!

Chocolate mint cake with BC with MMF accents. Did this cake for a girl who was getting married soon. She is not your typical bride, and loves animals. So I thought she might like this. She did.

This was made for a little girl that does not celebrate birthdays because of her religion but her mother gave her a "just because" party. The glamour boot is made from a chocolate mold a covered in mmf. The jewels are also chocolate.

My first Dora cake would you believe. Had fun making it with my nieces especially the 'estrellas'. Chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling and iced in marshmallow icing.

This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. These are my first chocolate transfers. I found that I overheated my light brown and it caused a waxy look to Dora and Diego's face. But, overall, I am very pleased with the way they turned out.

The cowboy hat is covered in fondant and the bottom cake is frosted in buttercream. The cowboy boot, leather belt, and buckle are hand molded out of fondant, then painted with food coloring. The buckle has an impression of stars and dots, then painted with bronze luster dust. Everything was made the size to "fit" the birthday boy.

This was a HARD cake to do. The birthday girl wanted all three characters on her cake and I couldn't figure out how to incorporate them at the same time, so I had them go on a walk together! The characters are cookies I made. The cake is covered with rolled buttercream and decorated with piping gel, royal and buttercream icing.

This cake is 18x24 (2-12x18 sheets one white one choco). Center emblem is edible image. Hydrant, boots & ax are out of gum paste. Helmet is rice rispies covered in fondant. Helmet is an exact replica of his actual helmet. Fire hose is buttercream with gum paste ends. I received more compliments on this cake than any other and I wasn't at the event.
