My daughter wanted a Dora Pirate cake for her sixth birthday, I made the design up from one of her books and made the characters individually out of fondant. The 'sand' is crushed biscuits and I used chocolate coins instead of ribbon.

This was made for a 3 year olds birthday party. The top cake is 2 -layer 8 inch round with the bottom cake a single layer 10 inch. Both were iced in buttercream and then accented with Dora, Boots and Swiper figures. I also found bright ribbon to add accenting color around both cakes.

I was asked to make this cake to be auctioned off at an annual weekend rodeo. The cake is a 12 inch chocolate cake iced in buttercream with fondant accents. The buckle is fondant with a royal icing horse and gold dragees. The humidity was awful and the hat would not dry so it really doesn't look like a cowboy hat. The boots are made from a mold and dusted with cocoa powder and gold dust.

The customer wanted a cowboy boot out of cake, but I did not have time to figure out how to do that, so I suggested rice krispy treats. This was designed after a ceramic boot she had. Covered in fondant, hand painted spots.

This is the rear view of the Dora cake I posted earlier. I couldn't find my camera at the time and my friend gave me the pictures. This one is a slightly better angle although it is the back!

I made this for my dd's 3rd birthday. The characters are chocolate transfers and the stars are fondant. The design was inspired by the party plates and I have to thank boween for tips on how to do the stars on the wires. They actually stayed up this time!! Top tier, white cake with raspberry mousse; bottom tier, chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling.

These are all the cookies that were placed into a mini hay bail to match the theme. It came out cute. Because the event was outside, it dried out the cookies. I've never had that happen.

This was done using 12 cupcakes. Dora and Boots are FBCT. My 1st CCC. Wow, it was really easy to do and so nice not to have to cut and also not to have to wonder if it will serve enough.

This was my first time decorating cookies! :D Worked my butt off for way too long for it to be practice so i made it out to my baby sisters. I used the NFSC with royal icing. I used the same technique as FBCT for dora and boots except i did it with RI and let it harden at room temp. The stars were just iced in RI. Thanks for looking!
