I loved all the Harley-Davidson cakes, but I chose this one as my final design. Thanks to all CC members for your beautiful creations. Logo is a fbct. I completely forgot to make the outline around the names be orange, so painted orange food color directly on. Customer was very pleased. 1/2 yellow, 1/2 chocolate with buttercream.

We didnt ask! The friend throwing the party was having the theme of a Black Elephant with diamonds and gold and had an example for us to make a cake around. Elephants were made of color flow and silver dragees were set in while wet. Gold was painted on after set.

this cake has been done on this site a gazillion times but I always love every version of it. I finally was able to have an occasion of my own to create this for. It was for my brother's girlfriend's bday. I haven't given it to her yet, hope she loves it. Its tiny, not that you can tell. Its a 6" bottom layer with a 2 1/2" top layer. Pink with black scrolls. artificial lily on top, I'm not great at making sugar lilies. Roses are about all I can do out of gumpaste. thanks for looking

First off I have to admit this is a dummy cake. I was so close to saying no way when my sister in law asked me to do it, she said it could be fake if that would help! I didn't have a lot of time so that's what I did. I think it gave me the confidence to try new things though, I had never worked with fondant before and had no intention until then.

A graduation cake for a school whose colors are black, orange and white. They wanted chocolate icing and said I could use that instead of black (thank goodness!). The emblem is a FBCT, diploma is MMF, cap is the top of a jumbo cupcake covered with MMF. Mortar is a piece of cardboard wrapped with MMF and the tassel is MMF pushed through a garlic press! I was really happy with this one except for the writing.

Just a basic 9x13 cake covered with white fondant. I used a note cookie cutter to cut out pieces of the white, then filled the holes with black notes. The cake was one layer yellow, one layer chocloate with a hazelnut creme filling between the layers.

This is a simple square wedding cake. The very bottom layer is a dummy, and the two pink layers are white cake soaked with rum simple syrup and filled with a rum cream filling. The middle black layer is a chocolate cake with a coconut pecan filling. All covered in fondant. I hand made the roses for the top tier of the cake out of gum paste and the vase holding them was made out of a styrofoam ball.

Design for a potenital customer. It was also part experiment-I wasn't sure if you could add coco powder to RI but it worked and tasted good too. Then I added some black coloring to it as well.

Looks pretty good huh? Well this was after working on it for countless hours and before moving it. I thought I would save some time and put it together at home. (I had done it before and everything went fine!!) Lesson learned! After all was said and done it turned out to be two layers shorter! Luckily the bride wasn't mad!! I was very fortunate for that.

This was supposed to look similar to a cigarette package. I couldn't pull it off. Good thing its for a friend. BTW, Wilton colormist taste GROSS! And smells wrong. I'm going to take extra frosting to replace this stuff after we pick it off. Name was done by BCT.

This is a full sheet cake. 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 white and the 6" on top is marble. The whole cake is BC icing and the school logo and "Class of 2006" are royal icing. This was a fun cake to make, thanks to the help of my husband finding the right press board to put it on and a box to deliver it in. And also thanks to all my pals at CakeCentral who answered all of my questions about coloring red, royal icing letters, etc.

14,10 and 6" vanilla cake iced and filled with buttercream. Gumpaste roses and bows. Satin ribbons. I really loved this cake. Had a little problem with bulging on the middle layer but I'm still very proud of this one.

My first wedding cake! I worked off a picture the bride gave me.
Alternating white and chocolate cake. BC frosting. Ribbon and roses are real. I got rave reviews on the look and especially the taste of this cake! Thanks to everyone at CC for all the help on getting me through this!

First attempt at doing a present cake. 8" square, five layers. I didn't let it settle long enough before I covered it with the fondant so it sagged a little. Oh well, live and learn. It was a last minute request for my sisters last minute Bday surprise party. I had another cake due on the same day (pregnant shower cake). It was my first time having 2 cakes due the same day. Everyone loved it, and that's all I wanted!

Made these with the coach purse. I used pancake molds from williams sonoma. Couldn't find large shoe and purse cutters anywhere for the life of me. Anyway...they were cute, and came out well.

This is a cake I made for a friend that just finished a2 year term as PTS Pres (brave i know). I was trying out the new 9" magicline Sq pans. I like them, but they seem to cook differently> The Cake rose all the way to the top and the cake was HUGE, at least 6 inches. But it made for a nice effect. I also tried the quilt mat on Buttercream. learned why people cautioned not to rub edge of mat, and had troubkle with lining up top and bottom.

This is the cake I made for my cousin's 33rd birthday. She wanted it to be identical to the decorations she had bought. I think it came out pretty good considering it is a 6 inch, very hard to write so small...

Center colors are a FBCT but the letters and all the rest was done by hand.

This was a fun one to make. It's a basic white cake with lemon filling and bc frosting. All the decorations were made of gum paste. I had a hard time getting the gum paste black and red so I ended up painting the stars and steamers with food coloring then dusting them with silver and gold for sparkles.
