This is a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It is based off one I saw Martha do. It really looks quite cute in person. I need a new camera!

I made this cake for a friend's 40th birthday. She loves shoes. This is my first time using fondant and doing a stacked cake. The cake is chocolate. The shoes are made from chocolate using chocolate molds.

This is a bortjday cake for my son for his borthday tomorrow......it's kind of a joke, he loves to sleep and he loves Coronas so I combined the two. My "guy" could use more work but I was pleased on how the bed looked.....my youngest daughter and I had loads of fun creating this.

This is my first real attempt at decorating a cake. I have a set of Irish Twins (children less than 12 months apart). My daughter turned 2 while my son turned 1. I made a smash cake for each of them.

This is a arrnagement of cookies I made for my sister's B-day. She used to collect unicorns when she was little, so the unicorns I added in for fun & she loves cats, hence the cat paw print cookie! They are sugar cookie w/ roayl icing made w/ meringue powder. I think my royal was a tad too thick for a smooth finish, but live & learn!! :)

I made this cake for my mom's 65th birthday party. She said she wanted something scenic, so I did my best. I hand drew the picture, then transferred it onto the cake with a kopykake frosting sheet, and then filled design in with the gels that I mixed from cake dyes. Frosting is whipped, instead of buttercream. She Loved It!

I made this cake for my step-sister's big 50. She is a huge elvis fan! Cake is iced with a whipped topping. I hand drew the picture and then transferred it onto the cake with a kopykake frosting sheet, then filled in with gels. She didn't want to cut it!

This is a full sheet, white/chocolate, with whipped topping.
I hand drew the picture, then transfered the drawing onto the cake with a tooth pick, then filled in design with gels.
I made this for a co-worker who also had short curley black hair. It was a big hit!

This is a 1/4 sheet cake. 1/2 white/1/2 chocolate with whipped topping. I hand drew the picture then transferred it onto the cake with a kopykake frosting sheet, then filled with gels. I did the camaflague free hand with the gels also. (It took a while). I made this for my girlfriends husband who is a veteran and WWII collector.

This was for my boyfrien's daughter who loves the hippy era. She loved it.

I made this for a co-worker who loves to collect Kokopelli Indians. It is a 1/4 sheet, (1/2 white, 1/2 chocolate), with whipped topping. I hand drew the picture then transferred it onto the cake with a kopykake frosting sheet, then filled in design with gels. I had a little trouble with the rustic Arizona look, but I think I finally nailed it.

This is a full sheet, (1/2 chocolate, 1/2 banana), with a whipped topping. I drew the picture by hand then traced it onto a kopykake transfer sheet with food coloring pens. Then I laid it on the cake and filled in with gels. I airbrushed it with green, because that was my co-workers favorite color, and added sprinkles for a final touch.

This was actually done for a baby shower at work (lady's second baby hence the 2 in the toppe), but it turned out a bit more whimsical and birthday-like rather than baby shower-ish. The #2 is candy melts and the bow and curlies are fondant. The rest is buttercream.

I can't believe my youngest isn't a baby anymore! Since he loves cars, I thought I make him a racetrack. It also reminds me of how the time is just racing by.

I made this cake for my mom to take to her aunt, who is turning 95 tomorrow. I had originally planned for pansies, but they didn't turn out like I wanted so I opted for apple blossoms. I live in *apple country*, so I thought it would be fitting... ;0)

It's a four-layer (two torted cakes) french vanilla cake with peppermint icing and fondant.

Thanks for looking!

This is a birthday cake I made for my sister's birthday today. First attempt at a square cake. The three piped stars at the top are candle inserts. I was inspired by another photo that I saw in the gallery, which had two tiers. However, I'm not sure I am ready for that yet.
