This is a family cake done by my two older daughters (8 and 5 y o) and me, for my youngest who will be 3 tomorrow!
It's all covered and decorated in MMF, using PME cutters. It's a lot of fun doing it with the girls :-)
I love the little frog that my eldest made, so I had to show it to you in detail!
I'd like to thank princesscris and gourmettiger, CC girls, whose cakes have inspired me :-)

My sons's name is Coen. We call him Coco and sometimes Coco puff. So we had a "Cuckoo for CoCo" birthday party. My idea for the cake was to have the smash cake on pillar above the other cake, but that all went belly up and so my cake design just didnt impress me. I am not happy with the design of the cake, but decided to upload it anyway. I am having problems with smoothing buttercream icing and suggestions?

Marble cake with b/c frosting. Made for a lady who rescues pigeons. She gave me a picture of the pigeons flying over her house and my daughter and I duplicated it with fondant clouds and silhouettes of the pigeons! She loved it!

The 5 is chocolate cake and the 0 is white cake, covered in fondant. The hummingbirds on the top of the cakes are fondant and the ones on the side of the cakes are painted on with food colouring. The outline piping is done with BC. This was one of the biggest cakes I have done to date! I was scared!! LOL

I did this for my brothers friend's nephew. He is two today and wanted an elmo cake. I decided to go with the figurines because he wanted a toy on his cake. This is the 1st time I have used figurines on a cake. I really liked the way the colors went perfectly with them. I had so much fun making this cake and it turned out a LOT better than I had hoped. Thanks for looking and comments are always appreciated!! :)

Here is a cake I did for the adoption of my neice and nephew!! The bottom represents my nephew who is 2 and the top layer represents my neice who is 10 months. The seperator in the middle is a collage of their family picutres and the top is a picture of all 6 family members on the front step of the church they were married in. The cross on top reads: "Not flesh of my flesh nor bone of my bone, miraculously still my own. Don't forget for a minute that you didn't grow under my heart but in it."

11x15 Winter birthday cake. Buttercream icing, cardinals are royal icing transfers. I used snowflake cookie cutters to imprint the snowflake shapes, then traced over them with icing. Inspired by another cake I saw on here!

This was my first attempt at making gumpaste flowers and leaves, and integrating them with a buttercream iced wedding cake. The wedding couple requested the Wilton love birds for a topper and they asked me to please include a fresh iris on the cake. The center cake and the bottom cake both had the fresh iris flowers included in the center of the top of each of those cakes.
