My very first. She wanted a very detailed cake for the husband. He loves pircings, tatoos and big boobs. He got it, and got embarresed by the cake. I was kind of embarresed to take the pictures.. Chocolade cake with Strawberry filling and covered in Fondant.

This was my younger brother's cake that I made for him for his high school graduation. It is a white cake with lemon filling, with buttercream icing, fondant letters and balls. *Note* You can't really tell from the picture, but this cake was HUGE! It was a quadruple batch of white cake batter...and when I had it all iced and assembled it was easily 30+ pounds!

I'm a beginner and this is the first 'theme' cake i've ever made. It was for my son's 1st birthday. I tried to match the 'freehand' look of his party theme -- The Big One. I was running out of time and had to go to a new school orientation the morning of the party so my mom did the polka dots for me. They were supposed to be bigger & spaced out more but since she was trying to help, I couldn't complain (too much). :-) Oh well, it still came out cute and all of our guests raved over it!

I made this cake for my niece's first birthday based on the invitations. The characters are a frozen buttercream transfer and I then went over them again with different tips for a 3D effect. The top layer of the cake itself turned out to be a disaster. The entire layer crumbled when I put it on the bottom layer. It was late and (luckily) just for my sister so I managed to cram all of the cake pieces together and carefully iced the top so you couldn't tell once it was iced and complete. It looked fine!

I did this for my brothers friend's nephew. He is two today and wanted an elmo cake. I decided to go with the figurines because he wanted a toy on his cake. This is the 1st time I have used figurines on a cake. I really liked the way the colors went perfectly with them. I had so much fun making this cake and it turned out a LOT better than I had hoped. Thanks for looking and comments are always appreciated!! :)

This was a same-day thing within hours of the get-together. It was for a friend of ours. I don't know anything about him so I had to go neutral.
