I used another cake that I saw on cc for inspiration, changed a few minor things and added Sesame street to the top. My cousin loved it and so did everyone else. I cannot find the original pic in my favorite's but the original cake had a tag that read "GABRIEL" so thanks to the original poster for inspiration!

These are sesame street character cupcakes I made for a 2nd birthday. I also made a cake to go along with it too :) Cupcakes are various flavors, icings are buttercream, with fondant details (eyes, mouths, beak, noses, etc.). Lots of fun to make!

I made these for my son's first birthday party. I got the idea from several postings on here, and they were quite easy to make. I regret using the black icing that comes in the tube from the grocery store - it was very difficult to use. I should've made my own.

This was a Sesame Street themed cake for a little girl's 2nd birthday. All of the characters as sculpted out of fondant. It was fun because the little girl played with them like dolls.

A sesame street party for a 2 year old. Thank you so much to all the great cake makers on this site for the inspiration. I discovered this site just recently and I am addicted. It is now my 'go-to' site for great ideas and suggestions on how to do different techniques. I had no idea when I got into cake decorating, how popular and vast this hobby is!!

To add to the many Sesame street cuppies already on this site, haha. I decided to make these with fondant instead of buttercream. Second pic is cookie monster and is a really bad picture. I did elmo too but he looked a bit dodgy, haha.

10" chocolate and 8" vanilla covered in butter cream with fondant accents. Inspired by cakes here on CC. Made a 6" smash cake to match. Oh, and I didn't forget to put the border on the smash cake. I realized at the last minute and put a red border around it. But I did forget to outline cookie monster...Oops. TFL

Made this cake for my son' s first birthday. Tried my best to mold out the Elmo, Cookie Monster and Big Bird out of MMF. I guess it came out okay... Everyone at the party raved about the design and look. I guess I was the only one to see all the flaws. Bottom is 10", 6" middle and cupcake top. All iced in buttercream with MMF accents and molded figures.
