I made this for a girls night out party. I used a loaf pan for the bed. I covered the board in tan fondant, then used my wood impression mat and the painted over it with brown gel color mixed with vodka. The bed is covered in fondant, fondant pillows, rugs, undies, socks & macho man. I did not realize until I was done the the guy looks like my husband.

Each little girl at the slumber party was given a personalized mini cake. I did the cakes to specific hair styles that each girl normally wore as well as eye color of each girl. Thanks for looking!!!

Inspired by many sleepover cakes on this site. The cake is chocolate with cream cheese icing. The sides are a basket weave with a leaf tip as seen on a cake by cakedesigner59. The blanket is the same icing, but I froze like a FBCT to avoid fondant. The girls are also balls of the cream cheese icing. Their bodies are milano cookies under the blankie. Headboard I printed on cardstock and laminated.

12x8 inch (approx) butter sheet cake with bc, then bar cake with bc and fondant quilt, sheet and pillow. This was my first go with fondant ever as I am just getting into this whole cake addiction. Not the world's best piper either but wanted some practice

Cupcakes made to represent a little girls bedroom. I was inspired by the chaise lounge which belongs to a flickr members daughter. These are butter cupcakes with butter cream icing and fondant. The cupcases are made of fondant also as I couldn't get any decent ones here. Everything except the foil I used for the mirror is edible!

This is a cake representing the Princess and the Pea fairytale that I made for my daughter. The cake is covered in mmf . The headboard and footboard of the bed are made out of melted chocolate. It was alot of fun to make. My daughter also likes tie-dye so made the blanket on the bed to match that

This cake was made for a lady who was turning 40 and was to become a grandma!!! The Bed is spice cake with cream cheese filling and BC frosting. MMF and Gumpaste Lady and all the accessories!!

Cake is an 11"x15" triple layer sheet cake covered w/ fondant. Headboard and footboard are gum paste. Characters are store-bought toys. Cake base is covered in wood-grain contact paper to resemble a wood floor.

I made this cake for my son's first birthday on Boxing Day a couple of years ago. It was one of the first cakes I did, I made ten babies on the bed from sugarpaste, I think the cake was a chocolate cake and the cake was covered in sugarpaste and made to look like a bed!

This cake was a last minute request, and I had nothing but problems with it. The blue fondant kept tearing and it took me several times to get it in place. The design was a bit different in my planning. The bow was too soft and won't set up, so it ended up flat. The cake colors were actually a lot lighter that this photo shows, much more pastel blue and softer color of brown. Painted the entire cake in pearl dust. The design was inspired by a couple of cakes here on CC!

This is a 14/12/10 inch marble mud cake based on a Sweet Art Design, personalised to the couple. There were also 2 kitchen cakes chocolate mud 12 and 10 inches. I had some timing issues with the cake and then on Tuesday realised that the delivery was for Friday not Saturday....! Eeeccckkkkk! Special thanks to my friends who kept me sane, and telling me I could do it. But an extra special thanks to my friend Sharon for being able to meet me there, help me carry the cakes in and set up and take some additional pictures. As the marquee was right up against the back of the opera house, it wasn't possible to get a pic of the cake with the opera house in the background, but we did take some shots showing the harbour, the bridge and one from the outside showing the top of the opera house before we set up. Sharon was an absolute lifesaver on the day and I am forever indebted to her and Master Zen! There are some really specific touches to the couple including their cat, dog and bird.

Buttercream w/MMF accents. Monkeys and headboard/footboard are fondant/gumpaste. Thanks to everybody who helped answer my questions, and a special thanks to Boshellbug for help with the hardwood floor!

Birthday cake for a little girl who loves Toy Story with lots of her favorite characters made of gum paste. Andy's bed is vanilla cake with buttercream filling. I loved painting the cake board to look the the wallpaper in the movie. Jessie, Mr. Potato Head, Hamm and the Etch-A-Sketch are hand made. Slinky Dog and the little army men are toys because I ran out of time!

I did this a couple of years ago- a friend's daughter was having her very first slumber party. The girls are fondant as are the headboard, the blanket and the bed skirt. It was a lot of fun to make and I think was my favorite reaction of any cake I have ever made... my friend cried!!!

Inspired by DB, I made this cake for my girl friend, covered in fondant an fondant accents. I liked to do all the details!! He is formed anatomically correct under the blanket. - It was much fun.

This is the little topper I made during a class this week with Klara Johnson. There are five little girls in the bed having a sleepover and I added a teddy bear and a few clothes strewn around as well. It was a fun class! TFL
