Batman cupcakes made for my nephews birthday. Simple chocolate cupcakes with cream piped on top (looks like meringue but it's cream!) and the bats are piped freehand with royal icing.

I made this the same way as I made my Spiderman cake. I made the head out of a wondermold pan & carved it. it was frosted in buttercream icing, and then airbrushed. The yellow bat is made out of fondant. This is before I made the face. I made the mouth out of fondant & the eyes.

It is hard to see but on top of this cake you can find Superman, Batman, and Spiderman..they are made from shrink plastic and hot glued to plastic picks. The buildings are made from color flow and the cars are made from jelly slices candies and spice drops. The birthday boy loved it. I found this cake in one of the Wilton's Yearbooks.

This was for my nephew's 5th bday. I ran out of fondant, which is why there are no building around the back of the cake. I'm sure he'll love it anyway.

Complete design credit goes to 'satin'. I loved the cake so much that I had to make it for my nephew's 4th birthday. The cake is a 9 x 13 chocolate with crusting cream cheese icing. I used piping gel to get the picture on the cake and then I outlined it and filled it in with the icing.

My best attempt at the Joker from Batman. It was a BCT but the hands ripped on on the transfer. grrr! That's why they look really bad. Also didn't cover the back with white, so it rippled on the cake. Live and learn!

2-tier cake covered in MMF. Chocolate Transfer super heros on sticks standing in front of the comic "background" for the character. The backgrounds are piped onto the cake with chocolate (wish I could figure out how to put it on smoothly!). The birthday boy is the super hero on the top. There is Spiderman with a web, Wolverine with an X, Superman with a city skyline, Batman with the moon and a gargoyle, Flash Gordon with a lightning bolt, Cyclops in front of red, and The Hulk coming through a wall.

Batman cake for my little superhero's 4th birthday tomorrow. It is my take on the popular Wilton 'spiderman' cake. I also used a cake from the whimsical bakehouse book as my inspiration. I can tell I have been out of practice for awhile. I had a little trouble with the buttercream this time. I think I am starting to prefer fondant! Only the 2nd time I have stacked a buttercream cake, boy I find fondant stacking much easier! The images are chocolate transfers and the batman is a candle. TFL!

Used bat cookie cutters to cut out sugar cookies. Inserted candy sticks into the bottom of the cookie prior to baking. After cokkies were baked and cooled, I decorated them with colored buttercream icing. Used a foam block covered in tissue paper to place the cookie pops in. Easy to transport them and display them this way.

This was a Fr. vanilla cake with butter cream icing that was designed to look like an action scene. The scene is suppose to look like Cat Woman bat signals Batman because Joker is getting away as Cat Woman tries to catch him after calling Batman. It was for a 5 yr.old and his Mom gave us some old Mc Donalds play toys and said create something with Batman and add these toys, so this is what we came up with. It was cute.
