This Batman & bike is 4 foot long and 1 1/2 foot tall Rice cereal figure and bike, covered in gum paste/fondant. The wheels are sponge cake covered in fondant as well as the 48 x 16 x 2 inch base. I spent over 35 hours on this cake and 28 or so with out sleep. It went over well when I gave it to my son on his 4th birthday.
I really respect those that do large figure cakes now. Oh and this think weighed 67lbs.

This cake was made for one of a set of the most adorable twins. I was given the opportunity to make the cakes for their party. He wanted Batman so this is what I made for him. The background was made on Word and attached to a cake board. I covered it with packing tape to make it grease proof. The street lamps are made from wire and fondant then air-brushed. The flames on the buildings were done in buttercream.

Birthday boy's mom wanted his cake to match his decorations and be the centerpiece of the party. The birthday boy couldn't take his eyes off the cake, I say he loved it!! This is a 1/2 sheet cake with the batman character pan on top. I leveled the batman cake so it would only give a slight raised effect to batman.

This cake was for my son's 4th birthday. It was chocolate with cookies and cream filling, and red velvet with lemon cream cheese frosting. It is LEGO Batman, Catwoman, Indiana Jones, C3PO and Luke Skywalker (complete with cut off hand still holding the light saber!). This was inspired by tons of cakes on this site. Thanks to all!

My son had to have Batman. My worst nightmare...black! Well, being inspired by other CC users, I managed this buttercream cake. The dark blue was airbrushed. The city buildings, Batman call sign, and Batman himself are colored chocolate. I hand piped Batman upside down over a pattern....didn't know how he was going to turn out until I flipped him over! I had one chance.

I cannot take credit for the design of this cake. I found it right here on CC and thought it was perfect. I really loved the colors. I used a 14" square pan and made it chocolate with chocolate buttercream. It is decorated in buttercream with a fondant Batman symbol. Thanks to MikeRowesHunny for the idea.

This is the Wilton, Batman pan that comes with plastic face, and chest plate. I don't know why, but the mask was turquoise, so I used Black, permanent marker to color it in. It worked and my grandson loved it. Chocolate Cake with all buttercream frosting.

This was a last minute birthday cake i made for a friend of mine. He's a bit of a comic fanatic so he asked me at 9 am if I could make him this cake so he could celebrate later that evening. Though it was rushed, I think it turned out pretty well. everything is made from buttercream except for the blue and yellow on the superman cake.

This is my first FBCT transfer and my first cupcake cake. It was for my 2 year old daughters friends birthday and unfortunately I only had about an hour to do it but I think it turned out ok! The transfer is of an actual sketch drawn by a real DC comics artist. I loved how it turned out. Cupcakes were white with chocolate centers, the rest is buttercream of course! :)
