this is yet another cake inspired by someone on here. (sorry I cant remember who) I used the wig head thing. Made cut outs for the ears, wrapped them in foil and taped it to the head. I then iced it with BC, and sprayed it!

I made this for my son's birthday. He is wild about the Justice League. I wish I had known about BCT back then....this might have been a good candidate. Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, piped design from a piping gel transfer....got the design from his JLA calendar. He was so excited!

batman cake made for 10 year olds birthday.
It was for the same women who bought the pink cake, she asked me last night at around 8:30 if it would be pussing it to make a batman cake for her. She needed it by noon today! The logo is a chocolate transfer, my 1st, not as good as I would have liked, was going to do a fbct but not enough time. It turned out ok I thought, it could have been a whole lot better.
They loved it though, I guess that's all that matters.

I Photoshopped the birthday boy (my nephew) and his sister's face onto the edible image of the Superfriends - the villians are all around the cake as well.

Batman is a fbct for a little boy who celebrated his birthday Sunday. I decorated the sides of the cake with the letters from his name and added squilly lines. Blue and yellow sugar sprinkles were added to the top. I was disappointed with my fbct because the black did alot of bleeding.

The customer only wanted the bat symbol on the cake. So...OK here ya go! I would have liked to add some buildings on the sides or a little more decoration. But she wanted simple.

A birthday cake I made for my nephew. Batman transfer was a rectangle thus the "cut-off" on one side.

Butter cake with Quick Caramel Frosting. First try at Caramel Frosting and expected the Caramel Frosting to be creamy like cream but it turned out grainy and extremely sweet because of the powdered sugar. Any comments welcomed.

10" base with bricks on two sides and then the batman and superman logos on either side of that. 8" middle tier surrounded by royal icing buildings. 6" trimmed top layer with AA (boys name or initials) made by my husband out of gumpaste. I had a different idea for the look of the letters but he came up with that. I stuck skewers in them and poked them into the cake. I had fun doing this, but the bricks took FOREVER!

The base is two layer chocolate sponge cake. While for the batmobile, I use butter cake. For the car's wing, I use white cooking chocolate and coloured with black colour food.
all the cake and batmobile are covered with whip cream.

Batman cake made for my nephew. Covered in buttercream with mmf accents. Mask is gumpaste. Had problems with the right side of the bottom layer. Couldn't get it level to save my life. The mask did not dry hard enough so I had to use the sticks to support it. Anyway, my nephew loved it. Top layer was chocolate, bottom was white cake, both filled with buttercream.

This is a burning skyscraper with Batman, Robin, Superman, and Wonderwoman. It was for a friend's daughter's 7th bday. Each layer is a different flavor cake with different fillings! Lots of work, but she was so happy when she saw her cake!!!

This cake was for my son's 7th birthday. He told me what he wanted the cake to look like, so I drew "gotham city" with the bat signal. He loved it.

5",8", 10" tiers. Used buttercream, fondant, royal icing and chocolate clay. All edible with the exception of the hot wheels at the bottom. I tried alot of new techniques on this cake, and made some awful mistakes, but learned alot and over all, I am pretty pleased. I dont like airbrushed color from the wilton cans. This was for an adult who loved superheros as a kid. I added comics to the sides of the cake support just for kicks.

I made these cakes for my nephew's birthday (we have a large family). They are frosted with buttercream. I drew the faces on the cake with a toothpick and outlined them with black buttercream and filled in with piping gel.

Had little time to devote to this cake and it certainly shows. Thanks to Melony1976 for the inspiration, although my cake in no way looks as good as hers did. White cake with bc icing.

I made this for my nephew. I wish I could have found a more modern Batman pan, but it still turned out OK. I made my first FBCT for the bat logo! Maybe next time I'll try something bigger :)
