This was a rush-job! All from scratch, chocolate fudge cake on the bottom & top layers, with peanut butter cake in the middle. Covered in vanilla bc - designs in royal icing. My first time painting writing with luster dust ("4" and stars in luster dust as well). Thanks for looking!

Forrado de fondant. Es un molde de 8", de los especiales para fondant y no le corte la "pancita que se le hace" para que quedara redonda, el cuadrito donde va el pivote es un cupcake y las decoraciones son de chocolate.

I used the Batman pan, but instead of star-tipping I smoothed it with a damp paint sponge. Time-consuming, but I think it's worth it. Look at those muscles! :)

I made this for my little guys day care group "The Bats" he seemed to really like it. I was really surprised you could see so much yellow in the black because in person it wasn't like that...well it must have been but I couldn't tell or I would have fixed it. Oh well I know for next time.

Made this cake for my husband's 30th birthday. I was in a hurry when I decorated it so the icing isn't very smooth and there are some obvious blemishes but overall I was happy with how it turned out!

Here was a challenge! The mom wanted a cake with not-so-sweet icing. I tried a "flour icing" and the recipe wasn't quite what I expected. It wasn't smooth and was too thin to pipe with. I had to force it through a strainer first (oh my wrists!) and then use buttercream for the Batman and borders. I just hope it was worth the effort! I have to wait for her call after the party! Any one else ever used a flour icing?

This cake was so simple to do but I really liked how it turned out. It is a ten and a six inch. It is iced in buttercream and all of the decorations are MMF except for batman. I didn't have enough time to make him so I just used a toy. TFL!

Super Hero Cake - it is done in BC What do you think. I thought it would be fun to use some toys for the cake so it's like one big birthday present for the birthday boy. THis was my sons cake and this is what he designed for me to make.

I made this cake for a little boy who just couldn't make his mind up so we ended up with a Spiderman, Power Ranger, Batman Cake. This is a 13 x9 cake so I didn't have a lot of room for the bday msg so again I pulled out my scrapbook supplies and created the comic book like msg and attached them to lollipop sticks.

Batman overlooks Gotham City. Cake (including focal building) is fondant covered bc. Decorations are gumpaste. Batman and cars were purchased (this was a major concession from someone who tries to make all of my decorations, but sometimes in the interest of saving both time and money, convenience wins out).

buildings were done in gumpaste and then airbrushed black. The person who got the cake told me 30 minutes before it was due. I had an hour worth of work still to do. Thank goodness I had most of it done. I did cheat a little and used frosting for the windows to cut down on time. TFL.
