Huge amount of chocolate cake with choc frosting all covered in fondant. Head is a male wig head also covered in fondant so it also serves as a souvenir of the party. Thanks to several CCers for the inspiration.

My son wanted a superhero cake with his favorite superheroes on the cake. So I tried chocolate writing. First time ever attempted chocolate writing. A lot more work went into drawing each superhero faces.

I made this cake for a friend. It's yellow cake with chocolate buttercream icing. I did the outline of the batman image as a FBCT and it didn't work too well. I just piped in the missing parts that didn't transfer. I tried the same with the lettering, because my free hand isn't very good, but that didn't work well either. Either way, my friend was so happy with it, he paid me an extra 10 bucks!!! WOo.

WASC w/pineapple filling. Emblem is a FBCT. Picture of Robin & Batman made of cardstock. Says "Holy Cakes Batman - it's Bleu's birthday." That's right, Robin. We must celebrate." The birthday boy loved it.

Many thanks to Luvmy4runner for her wonderful inspiration and help. This is a (not as good) replica of her cake. The customer was very happy. All CBC with airbrushed sides and fondant accents.

These were the smash cakes I did in conjunction with the bigger cake. I was so tired that I didn't realize the bat wings were wrong (see if you can spot the error).

This is a 6", 8", 10" all fondant cake. Superman, Batman and Spiderman...the little boy couldn't decide! I can not take credit for the design it is based off a cake done by kiwicakes on Flicr. I add my own touches though. The webs are painted, the rest is cut out fondant.

12 x 18 strawberry sheet cake with cream cheese icing. I really did not think the frozen transfer would work with cream cheese icing after reading comments on CC but I thought I'd at least give it a try. I am so glad I did. I used "edencakes" crusting cream cheese icing in the CC recipes. I added about 2 T. powdered sugar per 1/2 cup of icing to stiffen it for the colors I used in the transfer and borders.
