This head & shoulders are a vegan cake. The chest is french vanilla, Frosted in bc. Used fondant accents (cape, ears, eyes, mouth) Amazing that the colors look soo different in the picture. It was all the same color black. I had lights in the eye sockets. so the eyes glowed. Used lots of disco dust for a cosmic Batman! Many thankx to Sherik and Taralynn for your help!

This is the final prduct of 2 weeks of work. Making the cookie cutters, doing the cookies (GOD LOVE all you cookie makers!) then the 3 cakes (that was the easiest part!) I also did the star lollipops. I got the insperation for this cake from the 2007 Wilton Yearbook. Each cake is a different flavor (chocolate, classic yellow, and funfetti). The buildings are NFSC with royal. I blurred out my sons name (I have issues with my kids names on the internet :P) but those were also done with NFSC and RI.

This is a cake that I did for a close friend's child. It is Wayne Manor sitting next to a hill with the Batmobile coming out of the Batcave. The manor and hill are pound cake and everything is covered in buttercream icing. The trees are pretzel rods with buttercream branches. I will post a few other close-ups of this one - hope you all like it!

The Batman bust is out of rice krispies, covered in fondant, the little beacons are also fondant, everything else buttercream frosted. I used the Melvira smoothing method with the roller for the sheet cake.

This was for my son's birthday. Typical 3d bust. I used a male wig head that already had the facial features on them. At first covered it in fondant (what a pain and then went over it in BC. The body is iced in BC with fondant bat symbol and cape.

These were for a 4 year old's Batman birthday party. I made 2 dozen of them. They were really fun! They are NFSC with Toba's Glace, and the black is RI. I made a little template of the bat and laminated it, then when the yellow dried I used a food marker to outline the bat. It made outlining and filling the bat SO easy. And they are all very uniform. Thanks for looking!

Thanks to everyone who has posted pictures of Batman cakes on here because I got the inspiration from many great CC members! The cake is covered in MMF and the buildings and bats are done in Wilton's fondant.

This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. All decorations are done with buttercream and images were transferred on using piping gel. After posting the other cake for these 2 boys a few minutes ago, I realized I never uploaded this one from last year.

Thanks to Cakery for the inspiration for this cake. For a little boy that couldn't decide between Batman and Spiderman for his cake, so I suggestions your design and he loved it!! It's not as cute as Cakery's - but I did freehand draw the characters!! One-half chocolate cake and one-half vanilla with bc icing. Open to all suggestions and comments - and thanks for looking!!

I made this cake for the son of one of my co-workers. For some reason she had bought the cakes and she just wanted me to frost them. I'll never do that again! She bought two 1/4 sheets of vanilla and two 1/4 sheets of chocolate. I filled and stacked it, but when I tried to move it . . . a fault line ran through Gotham City! This picture was before that catastrophe but it was a huge hit! So, half chocolate, half vanilla. Buttercream frosting with Wilton black Color Mist. The Batman sign was a FBCT. My first!

The lady that ordered this cake daughter asked her father who was turning 30 what he wanted on his cake. She asked him "Daddy, do you want princesses on your birthday cake?" to which he answered "no, I think I might get batman". His wife heard the conversation and that is why he got batman. I thought the little girl's idea was cute!!

My nephew couldn't decide which superhero theme he wanted for his birthday so I incorporated all 3 using fondant logos and capes and a spiderman logo made with fondant and black piping. The cake is frosted with the decorator's frosting recipe I found on CC and I love it!

For my nephew's birthday....1/2 sheet yellow cake iced in a variation of Buttercream Dream. Started out with a piping gel transfer, but only Batman transferred completely so I had to freehand Wonder Woman and part of Superman. I know I need alot of work on my shells and reverse shells, but so far I've only gotten to take Course I and I've been trying to teach myself as I wait for a weekend class. But my nephew seemed happy with it!
