I think this is my 3rd Spongebob cake!! My nephew wanted baseball with Spongebob! I used the Wilton pan and followed the picture that was in one of their yearbooks to make him a baseball player! The glove is a sugar cookie and is being held up with a large jar of icing coloring! :-)

My daughter turned 14 and didn't really want a theme party, but I did! So I told her to pick anything! She chose Tigger! But as the party came up, the Cardinals were in the World Series, and they were playing that night! We had to modify! I hand drew the jersey on Tigger and my daughter printed up signs off the internet! Ironically, the Cardinals were playing the Detroit TIGERS, so we needed to address that! If you look closely, one of the signs says, "In spite of my tail, I'm a Cardinals fan!"

This is two 11x15 cakes sat side by side and iced together. One cake is chocolate and the other is yellow. The crew at the local lumber yard ordered this cake for their bosses birthday. He is a big Baseball fan and coaches his own team. The orange for the 60 and the blue for the lettering is his baseball team's colors. The loved the cake!

For my coworker's father-in-law who is from Puerto Rico. He doesn't speak much English, but just got into baseball. Everything is done in BC. Realized afterwards that it should have been Feliz, but I heard her wrong on the phone. At least she thought it was funny!!!

Made this for my nephew's birthday. New York Met's Baseball cap and baseball. Sheet cake is 1/3 chocolate, 1/3 marble, and 1/3 yellow cake, covered in buttercream icing. Hat and baseball are yellow cake, covered in MMF. Bill is made from gumpaste. The bill cracked because I didn't have enough time to let it dry all the way through. It was my first time really working with MMF to completely cover a cake, so I had some problems with dimpling and buckling around the bottom - covered with grass!

This was a cake I hadn't planned on making, but a friend thought I was. She reminded me a couple days before her grandson's big day. I learned that I need to get things in writing, both for myself and clients. Anyway, the little guy loved it--enough to try and eat the plastic players.

I got the idea for the stands from "sweetdreams" on this site-thanks! The ball is a jaw breaker, the bat is cut out gummy candy and the players are decorated teddy grahams. The dark and light green were supposed to look like a freshly mowed field. I don't think that comes across. Oh well!

I made this cake for our retired pastor. Obviously, he's a big Chicago Cubs fan. I had to make this cake at the same time as my son's christening cake, so it's not perfect. I was really exhausted after doing both cakes. I used marshmallow fondant. The baseball stiching is buttercream icing.

This cake was ordered for 10th birthday of a boy who loves baseball. I had creative freedom on this because the mom wasn't sure what she wanted, just that it had to be baseball theme. The baseball is half of a ball cake to give it 3D dimension. I had fun figuring out my design and the customer was estactic with the outcome.

This was for my neighbor's dad. He turned 60. My husband thought of the M.P.H under the 60 showing how fast the cake recipient still is.

I did these for my friend's son birthday. These are the sports that he plays through out the year. These were fun and easy to make except for the soccer ball. These are no fail cookies with royal icing.

The fired dept. recently lost one of their own who loved to play softball and were retiring his uniform. I got the idea for this cake by searching and copying pics in this web site. The grahamn craker infield was great. Thank you to all who's pics I borrowed from. The family loved it.

This was for a sports themed baby shower. The sports ball pan was used for the basketball and baseball. I used a 9inch loaf pan for the football and carved the shape. I used the star tip to frost all three.

This was a cake that I made for a customer who loves baseball. It was a chocolate cake covered in buttercream. The small cake on top was covered with buttercream and fondant icings. The other decorations are fondant as well. The characters represent a man and his two sons. I also covered the top of the cake with green shimmer dust to give the effect of grass...you can't really see it in the pic. Cakes always look better in person...lol. Thanks for looking.
