I made this cake for a friends birthday - an 4" and 6" stacked. I covered it with MMF fondant and made the tutu out of a MMF fondant/gumpaste mix. It was my first time working with gumpaste, so I was a little nervous! I painted the tutu with luster dust after it had dried too. I still have to work on getting my fondant smooth, but I think I'm getting better! Thank you so much Emmers for your help!

Another cake for my SIL's shower. The bottom is chocolate & the 1/2 circle is WASC. The "stage floor" is chocolate fondant. Baby ballerina is MMF. "Bella" is chocolate. Apparently I didn't mix the color thoroughly & after sitting in the sun for about 10 min the color bled through. I really had fun w/ this one.

This was my first time using gum paste. I think it turned out pretty cute.
My friend found several cakes on here that she wanted me to combine, along with a very opinionated 5 year old:)

My version of the Sugar Plum Fairy Cake based on Debbie Brown's book. This was my first time modelling and was a bit nervous since I was making it for my daughter's birthday. Aine2's great modelling tutorial helped with the face, I liked her faces better. This was the 2nd cake I have ever made in my life. Still has room for improvement but I was happy with it.

Fondant shoes and buttercream. The little girl's name is Belle so the mother asked for Bellerina to be put on the cake. I used the ruffle tip to go around the cake on the sides. It looks like a tutu.
