Red velvet cake with crusting cream cheese icing and fondant accents. Found the wizard pan at a thrift shop for $2 and had to make it for my dad who loves this kind of thing. The magic ball was made with the insert from my bake and fill pans and covered in marbled fondant. Thanks for looking.

This is a pic of a cake that has been on my camera since last summer, just now got around to getting that roll put on a disc. This cake was fun to do and a learning experience. I found out from the family that gel coloring tastes funny, if I do another cake like this I would probably just use blue frosting and not the gel.

This was for my son and nephew, Zack and Zach. We had a beach theme, complete with blue seashell fettucini and hot dog octopus, with blue punch and swedish fish swimming in it. Beach layer is chocolate, castle strawberry, ball white with raspberry filling. BC frosting on all, sand is graham cracker crumbs.

Another cake for my son Zack, for his soccer team. Red velvet cupcakes, bavarian cream filling, bc icing. Soccer balls are dark chocolate and white. First attempt at a cupcake cake. Thank you 3tier for your inspiration! I used the sports cake as my starting point.

These are the first "cake truffles" that I have ever made! I made these for a potluck that my mom had to go to. I made chocolated coated chocolate cake ones, coconut chocolate ones and white chocolate coated strawberry ones. I was very pleased with the results! Thanks for all the ideas/help and inspiration!

This is my most popular cake...marble cake with milk chocolate ganache filling. Let's not forget the rope! EVERYONE wants the rope now!!! This is also a new stringwork border I am trying. This one is doubled up from the last one I did.

Total copy of the golf ball cake by Krissy_Kze. Thanks for the tips Krissy! It worked out well. I'm not happy with the fondant tee but overall I like this cake. Both are lemon cake with raspberry filling & WBH BC. Golf ball covered in fondant as well because WBH BC doesn't crust so I couldn't do the dimples on the ball.... duh!

Made for a 9 yr old classmate of my son, I used mini sports ball pan to make a 3d ball. Unfortunately I had no pattern to go off of on the ball and freehanded it so it looks like a soccer ball that was kicked one too many times lol. I got the color ideas off a cake I viewed on here and the little girl loved the cake!

Good old cake balls! The cake was van/caramel. The plain choc covered balls have cocoa powder, caramel bits, mini choc chips, and a dash of choc/caramel liquid cc inside. The ones dipped and drizzled with white choc have powdered sugar, toffee bits, and a bit of bc. The little balls in the middle are caramel balls. Can't wait to take leftovers to work for them to try (yes, there are leftovers)!

Pink and Brown Fondant. I initially was only going to use one shade of pink. I did the light pink and made the bow, then set it up to dry overnight. The next morning, the light pink had REALLY faded. Very noticably. I've never had this happen with fondant before. So I made a medium shade and finished it with 3 colors.

The cake is Vanilla Caramel layered with Butter Pecan with a Caramel Filling and Iced in Buttercream. The ball cap is a Chocolate Cake. The DVD, CD and cap brim are made from Rice Krispie Treats. First time using MMF and put to much buttercream under it on the hat so is uneven, worked well on the CD and DVD, used Food Color Writers to draw.

I did this for my grandpa's birthday, he's a big Brewers fan. The bat and ball are both fondant. The Brewers logo is a FBCT, my first attempt at this...it was definitely a learning experience! Hopefully he'll like it!

This is what the customer ordered...hmmm...white cake with french vanilla mousse filling on 1/2 sheet covered in BC, ball is yellow cake with french vanilla mousse covered in BC, and bat is single layer chocolate. Candies on outside are poured milk chocolate molds. I don't care for this but she drew it and I made it.

I made this cake for my 40th Birthday! Some people were relieved that I actually wanted to make my own cake because they know that I'm a freak of perfection and sooooooo picky. My husband could not keep the party a surprise so I figured I'd make my own cake! Thanks for looking.
