Thanks to cakesbyallison for the inspiration and pointers and help... not nearly as nice as hers, but I was pretty proud of it. My first fondant stacked cake too! Had some issues with the bows due to time restraints and the roads that were traveled to deliver, but I think I covered it up pretty well. Everyone at the shower loved it too!

I made this for a co-worker of my husband. I'd browsed the silhouettes here on CC, and found a beautiful one by rachmakescakes for my inspiration! (Thanks, rach!) My Old Fashioned Chocolate cake recipe torted/filled w/ vanilla BC. The silhouette is handcut (since my 3 y.o. kept using my templates as coloring pages) from my improvised version of mmf. This was a fun one to make!

This is a cake that I made for a co-worker's daughter's baby shower. The shower was
scheduled for today, but the mama-to-be went into labor yesterday. So, who knows the
fate of this cake. The booties, blocks and flowers are fondant/gumpaste the rest is
buttercream.

I made this cake for my co-workers s-i-l's shower. It was a 2 layer 10" oval marble cake with Raspberry mousse filling and Sugarshack's icing. All of the decorations were made using 50/50 paste.

This was for a last minute office baby shower. I had to change my original design because I ran into some minor issues and was running out of time but everyone was happy with the design and taste! (Pheww!) I have to thank Jessfmaldonado for inspiration and help with the bear design. (I think I pulled the bear off although my cake is no where near as good as hers) TFL

Very proud of this cake.......it made the five hour trip to its destination without any injuries. The fondant did sag a little bit in the front, causing the border to move away from the cake, but not enough to worry about it. First three tier cake and third cake for me to do, so please let me know of any tips, etc. that you may have for me. Three tiers are all different flavors and then covered/decorated in fondant. Sister-in-law loved it!

This cake was decorated to match the baby's nursery. It was a very small baby shower, so I made a small round cake for decoration & bite-size cupcakes w/ butterflies to match the crib setting. The peek-a-boo baby is sculpted w/ fondont & the layers are red velvet w/ cream cheese icing. Inspiration came from CC......thx a bunch!!!

This was my first attempt at an all fondant covered cake. What a disaster!!! I didn't even want to take it the shower. It tasted great though. Everyone said they liked it, but I'm still on the fence about it. The booties were fun to make though!!! Thanks for looking!!!
