this was done for my sister's baby shower 3 days after my neice showed up 3 1/2 weeks early LOL. She wanted her name done in blocks, and her birth stats on the cake, she wanted it all done in cream cheese even though I told her it wouldn't hold up as well as buttercream, she wanted it pink & black. I wasn't to happy with it as the cream cheese wasn't firm enough but she loved it and so did everyone at the shower so that's all that matters right :)

I went into this cake loving the idea but then hated it when it came to doing the skirt. I did a straight skirt instead of the flowing maternity type and even though I didn't care for it, the customer loved it. All fondant other than the ribbon bow that say's "It's a Boy". Can't wait to do another to do a better job! TFL!

This was a last minute cake. I used left over flowers from another cake. I made the baby from ideas here on CC. The bottom was a 8' square, and a double layer 6' round.

8" & 10" iced in BC, MMF accents, topped with GP tennis shoes. Belly iced in BC and covered in MMF. Used the Wilton ivy mat for the texture, loved it.

WASC with buttercream icing. I have had this pan for a while and finally got to try it. It was a fun cake to do. I loved doing the checkerboard on the "blanket part".

Cake for a woman due during the holidays, therefore the design was the customer's idea. I cut the shape free handed from a 11x13 sheet cake and covered in fondant. I printed the word "baby" on cardstock, cut them out & used them as a template for the letters on the onesie. I decided to use red lettering on the board and just put holly leaves beside them instead of creating more holly berrys and having them clash with the lettering. The customer, the mommy-of-honor, & all the other guests loved it! TFL!

8 and 10 inch 2 layers stacked together frosted with butter cream and decorated with fondant cut out circles tinted in pastel green and pink. Wilton baby buggy used ~ I added a baby in the buggy and formed a blanket accented with pink dots from the left over fondant. Cupcakes were decorated to match the cake also.

For 2 people having babies at work. Something quick & simple. Not pleased with the pink cake but it tasted great. Almond cake w/ almond bc, blue- chocolate cake w/ vanilla bc. White chocolate accents. TFL

I got another order for one of those adorable clothesline cakes only this customer wanted some yellow ducks incorporated and when I was delivering it to the party store (they get me orders and the customers pick them up there) I realized I had forgotten to add any ducks, so we grabbed some little duck cupcake picks they had for sale and broke off the pick part and laid them on the cake lol how cheesy.......oh well........TFL

This was a cake I made for a baby shower this weekend. Cake was chocolate fudge drenched in white chocolate syrup, with Bavarian cream filling and dark chocolate butter cream icing. Top tier was vanilla soaked in french vanilla syrup, with vanilla butter cream filling and icing. Baby booties, Teddy bear, pacifier and bow are all made out of fondant. This was a fun cake to make.

Bottom layer is carrot cake with cream cheese icing and the bassinette is chocolate with buttercream icing. Thank you to Birdlady for the inspiration and the direction on the bassinette. Very much appreciated. Frills are royal icing and hearts, baby blanket, bunny and baby shoes are fondant. TFL
