Yet another maternity dress, but only my 2nd. I loved the color request for green & pink and just a hint of the 'tatas' showing, lol. Once again, got my inspiration from many of the other CC'ers cakes! The customer loved it & I can't wait to do another! TFL!

I made this bouquet for my niece who is having a baby girl. I was very nervous because this is the first time I made such a large bouquet. I am always my worst judge, The family loved it!

Babay girl christening cake, sponge and lemon buttercream. MMF covered and accents. Made the crib using the mini ball pan. Used a decorating tip to punch holes for the detail on the blanket. The baby is a plastic topper and I just put a little fondant bonnet on her!

I really really dislike doing buttercream cakes because I am getting more and more confident with my fondant work. So yesterday I made this cake for a customer who is having a baby girl & wanted me to sort of replicate something I'd done a longggg time ago. I tried to change her mind, but she did not want fondant =( I'm not happy with the corners, or the smoothness really, but overall I think it turned out OK & the couple loved it, which is what really matters!! TFL =)

My first real work w/ a lot of fondant & it gave me grief, but I'm keeping my head up. All said & done I'm pleased. It was inspired by Debbie Brown's cake. Thanks cakebaker1978 for all your help.

For a friend's shower. Inspiration taken from the Bananafish Bubblegum bedding. I would have made the ribbon on the middle tier a little smaller, but oh well. My first real stacked cake--to be delivered. It is buttercream w/ fondant accents & gumpaste booties dusted w/ pearl dust.

Baby shower cake for family member....she is having a girl, and is doing her nursery in pink/brown circle pattern.....cake is the Amazing Chocolate WASC (best cake ever!), with oreo buttercream filling; covered in mmf; the pregnant lady and the animals are all gumpaste. Got this inspiration from Pink Cake Box (love them!) I loved doing the pregnant lady and the animals; but as you can see, I still need LOTS OF PRACTICE!!!!!!! But this was a very fun cake to do, and the mom-to-be loved it!!!!!
Thanks for looking!

Bottom layer is carrot cake with cream cheese icing and the bassinette is chocolate with buttercream icing. Thank you to Birdlady for the inspiration and the direction on the bassinette. Very much appreciated. Frills are royal icing and hearts, baby blanket, bunny and baby shoes are fondant. TFL

Thanks to jo0312's original "Baby in Pram" I got the idea to make this cake for my husband's pregnant co-worker & husband (who is also his co-worker). The invitation has a stroller & polka dots on it as well. The colors of the baby's nursery are red, pink & white, therefore the color choices stayed almost the same as jo0312's. The fondant isn't too perfect on the bottom layer, but overall I think it came out ok =) Airbrushed cake with pearl shimmer & used pink luster dust on the lettering. TFL!
