White chocolate leaves hand painted with different dusts. the cake has 3 layers it then becomes perfect height for the cigar cookies. it takes about 20 dollars just for the cookies. This also great for a grooms cake.

10" Round with Raspberry Filling. Bought a new candy mold and wanted to use it...hence the leaves. The confetti are teeny tiny leaves too.

This was my first experience with a 3-tier stacked cake. The cake is a PB/Chocolate Marble cake for all 3 tiers and the PB Fudge filling and the ALL BC frosting and flowers came out quite well. Despite the trouble i had with putting it together (the cakes were still squishy in the center and had to rebake them after already splitting them in half!), I had a lot of fun making the cake and can't wait to do another one. Everyone at the party raved about it, so I can't complain.

This cake (actually a styrofoam cake dummy) was made for a local cake supply store's Fall window display. The sides were decorated in the basketweave pattern with fondant leaves added for Fall color.

I did a set of fall leaves for a charity event, this is the maple leaf. It is NF sugar cookies with Antonia's RI. Then, I just ran a toothpick through it for the design.

I got the inspiration for this cake from Sugarshack's awesome daisy and bees cakes. It is a 6 inch chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. The flowers are silk and the bee is fondant. Thanks for looking!

this was an experiment, and just for practice. Leaves are chocolate melts brushed onto washed and dried real leaves. Leaves were then peeled off. I don't think I would serve this to anyone but family, or at the very least, I would take the leaves off before serving. First time I tried swirls...they didn't come out very well. Rose is a tootsie roll rose.

I made a mistake and carmelized my sugar in my IMBC cake, but other than the color it tasted delish!

Fall themed cookies. These were a lot of fun. The possiblities are limitless when it comes to decorating cookies and cakes...what an underappreciated art form! I love it!

I'm new to cake decorating and wanted to try white chocolate leaves. It's pretty easy. You just melt chocolate with some shortening, add your color, paint it on the back of a real (non-toxic obviously) or synthetic leaf. Let dry in fridge and peel off. Does anyone know how to use the decorating comb properly. I obviously didn't do it right. Maybe my icing needs to be thinner?

I entered this cake into the 2006 SRBA convention, my first ever Buttercream Wedding Cake! It was a 12-9-6 cake iced in a pale pumpkin-shade and decorated in dark chocolate Ornate Scroll . I then accented it with handmade fondant pumpkins with a "frosted" sugar
finish, autumn leaves and vine tendrils dusted in gold, copper
and bronze gold dust. To my surprise, I won first place. :-)

Was nervous doing this- first 'public' cake-donated to nephew's school fundraiser. So no forgiving family members LOL. As it turns out most cakes donated were either cheapo storebought or just plain iced with sprinkles or smarties. So ANYWAY lol. I tried to tie flavour together with theme. So I used Maple cake from CC (also added real maple syrup) and Maple Butter frosting (from CC-also added maple syrup). Leaves were done with my new leaf molds with MMF -was challenging trying to make leaves look 'natural'

Practice cake for Thanksgiving. I used the jackolantern pan but iced it smooth rather than starring in the face. I wanted something simple to welcome autumn. It didn't look so great, but I used maple flavoring in the icing and it tasted awesome!
