Create a stage for the Wilton Circus Animals by using 2/3rds of a round cake on top of a sheet cake.

Pipe your circus clowns with a star tip, and add circus peanuts as a great whimsical border

This is four 8 inch cakes. Pound cake with buttercream icing. Butter snap pretzels, shreaded wheat, grahman crackers, and plastic animals.
This was the most fun I had when doing the cake. The final cake had "happy birthday" written on the side of the roof. It looked really good there.

Mommy and baby duck in tub. The candle is in the mini duck cake which I cut off and put on a little plate just for the birthday boy to blow out the candle and then devour. I was able to make a mini duck by molding aluminum foil around a rubber ducky in 2 parts and then baking cake in it.

I was VERY worried about this cake b/c the woman was extremely specific about what she wanted! She also specified she wanted it to seem like the animals were singing to the bday boy! I hope this is what she pictured!!! Fondant animals, notes, and streamers. Decorated sugar cookie animals on the sides. Music scale, notes and primary accents are royal icing. Cake is chocolate fudge with choc BC icing.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME WITH MAKING THESE FONDANT ANIMALS!!!!

All bc icing on cake. Sorry the color looks strange, bad camera. The animals and rocks are chocolate. The big tree and palm fronds are candy clay. The big tree "leaves" didn't quite survive the transport to the party site. The palm trunks are fancy wafers dipped in chocolate bark. First carved/3-d cake, next will be much better as I learned alot. Thanks for looking!

3D dog carved and assembled from a 9X13 French Vanilla cake, iced in buttercream with a real bow for colour. The eyes are fondant with brown M&M's and the nose is fondant. It's supposed to be a Golden Retriever but I'll settle for just the Golden!

Made from part of 9X13 and 4 mini cupcakes at either end. Iced in buttercream. This was added at the last minute as the puppy cake turned out smaller than expected.

My friend collects frogs so this was her birthday cake. As I was assembling it, I realized my nephews had eaten one set of the cookie legs so I had to make new legs out of cake scraps at the last minute. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to perfect that nor the color. I used the Animal Crackers pan moving the ears up to be the eyes and a fruit roll up for the tongue.

This cake turned out really cute (even if my mother-in-law thought it was a space ship!) It was easy to make and decorate and it matches the Barnyard Celebration Party decorations PERFECTLY!!

Strawberry cake with Haagen-Dazs strawberry ice cream (with chopped animal cookies mixed in the ice cream). Vanilla icing, buttercream trim/borders. Writing and number 2 made from pink chocolate melts. Flavor combination seemed popular with adults as well as the kids.

This was from the front of Wiltons latest yearbook. Had trouble getting the candy coated bottom of the cupcakes right and they were too big for the new cupcake holder that I bought from Wilton.

A labor of love for my 3yo little girl. For her special cake she requested a "red truck cake". Her party theme was safari/zoo animals. This is what I came up with. She was thrilled.

I made this one for my Grandson. They are sitting on hat boxes that I decoupaged in the animal print tissue and sealed them. Each cake has a matching animal. Cigar type cookies were placed on the sides to look like bamboo. These were the easiest and fastest cakes I have made and have had a lasting impression on many people.

I made this for a friend's little boy. It is another example of how I have used hat boxes as cake stands.

This cake was fun to do. The animals are made of fondant as is the bow. The rest is buttercream. I had problems with the BC cracking on me as I didn't have enough support on the top tier. Also dry weather. I'm glad this is over. I started on the cake and the shower was cancelled at the last minute, but rescheduled again. Thank god for fondant and freezers! The inspiration of this cake was by ButterflyCakes with 2 diff cakes in the gallery. And the animals are from mother to be's nursery bedding.
