Elmo done from the Panda pan for my great nephew's 1st birthday. He is stacked on a 16 sq cake. I had him in a box and everyone thought that it was an Elmo doll and would start to pick him up and someone would shout for them to stop. lol

Boom box made for my son's birthday. It turned out great, considering the picture was out of my head. It has 8- 8x8 cakes for the speakers, and 4- 8" round cakes. The cakes alternated between chocolate, white and yellow cakes. The frosting is butter cream. The antena is a 36" inch straw and the handle is made out of 9 bendable straws that I taped together. The tape deck face and radio face is made out of fruit leather. The buttons are made out of graham cracker. spkrs r waffles woofers sm york mints

This is my third cake, and I am really enjoying cake decorating! I just wish I could find a way to make and decorate cakes without gaining a million pounds! This was for my kids on Easter - it is a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing. It took a while to pipe all those stars, but I think it came out cute! Thanks for looking!

Vanilla cake with a chocolate cake beach ball. Covered with BC. This little girl was 2 years old and the mother had plates that looked like beach balls, so I made the cake 3-D.

Here finally is my first ever truck cake. Thanks to EVERYONE here on CC who helped me with it including those who didn't know they helped. It was a big hit. I learned a lot with this cake and learned how to do better next time I make a truck.

First stacked/carved cake. Done for my BIL's birthday. Took HOURS! and I'm just holding my breath that it doesn't fall apart before the party today! The legs are 2 stacked 6 inch cakes. The body is wondermold cake. The head is the sports ball cake. All iced in BC and covered with MMF. I hate the way the head came out. Can someone please tell me how to cover a sports ball cake with fondant and keep it smooth! Hat made with gumpaste.

I was making this cake as a practice for a handbag cake, and just so happens it was easter so I doctored it up to be more festive for the occasion! The chick and bunny are fondant, first time modeling so don't laugh!!!. :) Also first time using luster dust and was mixing it with water so it didn't come out right. But thanks to this fantastic web site, I have since learned how to use it correctly!

This was supposed to be a birthday cake for my son, a helicopter mechanic,,turned into a disaster when the helicopter part "crashed", breaking off the tail router, the skids & leaving cracked windows & dents on both sides. It ended up just sitting on the helipad with me in tears. Have a good laugh now though!
