Wilton's 3-D Bunny cake atop an 11x15 sheet cake. The bunny is own its own board, which is covered with green "grass" to hide it, on top of a plastic plate. Removed board for transport; replaced on the plastic plate at the party. The shower was a garden theme.

The other half of this cake fell apart when I took it out of the pan so it ended up being a half an egg.

I free-handed this boot from a 9x13. I used star tip for entire boot with BC for lighter brown and gray and (I admit) store-bought chocolate frosting for darker brown. I put silver bullet candies on the spur for the star.

I am not a cake professional, so please be considerate! :~) I only do themed cakes for my son and daughter's birthdays. I used the detailed directions on this site (THANK YOU) to make Spiderman. He is not perfect AT ALL, but my son (and everyone at his party) LOVED it!
I love that he loved it!

This cake is for the 1 year anniversary of my parent's church they started. They use space with earth on their website. This is chocolate with buttercream 1/4 sheet and then the half circle is vanilla with buttercream. I did the papertowel thing on it to give it a swirly look. I am happy with it. I originally was going to make it the full circle (sports ball pan), but the bottom cracked when I tried putting the circle together. Not sure why...Anyone??

This was ORIGINALLY made to put on top of a 1/4 sheet cake. I put it on a board, of coarse, and placed dowels in the cake where it would be sitting. I even put a dowel down through the duck into the sheet cake. But, fifteen minutes later, it fell over smashing one side of the cake. Needless to say, we made a trip to the store to get a toy rubber ducky because I WAS NOT transporting this duck!!!! I corrected it's blemishes, then his wings fell off!?!?

This was for a reunion of everyone who had attended this elementary school which was closed in 1970 and torn down. It is my best replica made from memory and a couple of very old photos with the school in the background.

I made Merlin for one of the figurines from my sister's mythical birthday cake. He's made from modelling paste and his cloths are gumpaste. The beard/hair was made with the help of a sugarflair gun.

It is traditional to eat apples dipped in honey on Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and honeycake is also a tradition. These two cakes combine the traditions. Both the "apple" and "honeypot" are honeycakes filled with chocolate ganache and covered in fondant. The "honey" is piping gel. I've learned a lot since these two cakes!

This is from the Wilton First and Ten football pan. It's a copy of a real Gilbert rugby ball in their signature blue and green trim over white. I wrote "rugby" on it because I didn't want people in class (Wilton Course I) calling it a football.
