This cake was from the wilton yearbook 2006. I made it for a baby shower of a friend who didn't know what she was having. I added two booties on top out of molded chocolate. One pink and one blue! The cake is covered in fondant and all items are cutout of fondant as well.

My son's 2nd birthday cake. This was a labour of love! It's Clifford the big red dog and hand molded figurines of his friends at a birthday party, complete with cake and milk! When my son saw it on the morning of his birthday, he pointed and with a big smile on his face said "Clifford!" It warmed my heart!

This was done on a 12in base yellow cake with the cow made using the 3D lamb pan and the same yellow cake used for the base cake. I used the "durable cake for 3D...cake" recipe. All buttercream, the black frosting is chocolate bc. This was done for my sisters 17th birthday. The cake and I made a 130mile trip for delivery - made it without damage Yay! She loved the cake!

A fun birthday cake... Themed afte Lego building blocks. The Green Base Board was Vanilla cake with a Bavarian Cream filling. The Blue and Red Building Blocks were baked in mini-loaf pans and the Yellow block was a small square pan.

I used the pre-packaged primary colors pack of Fondant from Wilton... I found it to be very wet and hard to roll out w/o sticking, but we got through it.

Pride & joy!! That's what I felt when I finished this monster. Very little cake - just the base 10" square and 1/2 sports ball. Head, ears, hand, and foot are all rice krispie treats covered in fondant. This was my first time working w/ RKTs - lots of lessons learned here.

This was a fun, but hard/tedious cake! It's a 1/2 sheet on the bottom & the nascar cake pan on top, but shaved-away at until it's more the shape of the General Lee car. I frosted the car & then "painted" it with a wet paint brush to make it smooth - that was the tedious part, and getting the windows black, etc... I don't think it turned-out as well as it should have, but I was still pretty happy with it!

This cake was made for a little girl's birthday, which is on Valentine's Day. It is my first 3-d cake, using the mini bear pan. The heart is MMF, everything else is BC. Thanks for looking!

Just practicing a 3D cake. Made by cutting shapes from a 10x10 cake and then covering with MMF. Then I painted it w/ food paste and vodka mix. Next time I will use plastic chocolate for the roof shingles... It would already be the right color. It was fun to make!
