Made to match birthday boy's favorite stuffed animal. All MMF. Elephant body is cake with RKT head / trunk / feet. I put straws through feet & into base cake to keep the weight of the body from crushing the feet. I brushed Wilton silver shimmer dust all over the elephant because to match the material on the actual toy and it makes some areas of the pic look like the MMF was to thin in spots.

1st birthday for my niece, also made the pirate ship for the same party (nephew's). MMF w/ some gumpaste on bow. Purse on top is RKT. Base cake is only 6". Cake stand is a child's plastic plate over a plastic cereal bowl. Smash cake is BC extra thick for her little fingers to dig into.

Bottom layer was a 10 inch double layer white cake, top tier was 6 inch double layer chocolate cake. Covered in BC icing with fondant polka dots and stripes. Topped off with a birthday hat! This was the very first time I have ever stacked a cake! And I think now I'm addicted! LOL

This is the over-sized cupcake cake I made for my daughter's first birthday party. This was her own cake to enjoy. I used a 5" double-tall, pan. I left the curved top of the cake on so it would help with the look of a cupcake. All buttercream.

Friend's family has this tower that they just keep repainting for the occasion. I made Chocolate cupcakes w/ BC, coconut cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting (recipe from wgoat5), and newlyweds red velvet with wgoat5 frosting. I made mini coconut cupcakes with a sliver of pecan on top of the dipped icing. The theme was dots with the primary color being red. I also made round sugar cookies in three sizes and used RI in three of the invitation colors.

This cake was so much fun! I made it for my son's first birthday. The rubber duckie is plastic, everything else is buttercream. I am so mad, I didn't get a picture of the smash cake. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen! As with most of my cakes, this was inspired by fellow CCer's!

This was taken before writing Happy Birthday Marissa! on the cake. The little girl *loved* picking each lady bug off of her cake to carefully inspect then eat them. I made the ladybugs & flowers with royal icing.

This idea came from a few cakes I saw at here at CC. It was for a little boy's 1st birthday and all the mother asked was that it be 2 tiers with green, yellow, and blue pastels and a monkey theme. She also wanted a small matching cake just for the birthday boy to have. There originally was a 3rd monkey - but he didn't make it :( Both tiers are vanilla with buttercream and fondant accents. Monkeys are fondant.

This is cream cheese icing. The whole thing is a big smash cake. You should have seen the lovely shades of gray and green that were in his ears and hair. The tunnel is a 6" that I cut in half, stuck the two halves together and carved until I got the shape I was looking for. Everything on it is icing except for the plastic train.

6" round/12" square with gumpaste/fondant towers/turrets with stone impression mat. Flags on toothpicks secutred with fonant balls. Made to match party theme with hearts and stars. Purple, gole, silver Luster dust then airbrushed with super pearl. Instead of the paper towel rolls, I used a can of Pam to set the towers. Much more stable--turrets were made from light cardboard pattern cone (vs. ice cream cones). Thanks for sharing ramona!
