Here's the rolled fondant package cake from Course 3. I used MMF and I used blue instead of pink for the ribbon. It's a 10" square instead of an 8", but that's the pan I have!

This is my grand finale cake from course 3. It's all real cake, covered with MMF, and I decided to use poinsettias instead of roses, since I was going to a Christmas party the day after my class. Everyone thought it was just a decoration - they were quite happy to eat it, though!

White Almond Sour Cream cake with BC icing and MMF covering. Fantasy Flower, and Daisy. I didn't have any carnations as I made my first gumpaste floral spray (check my photos) and I really just wanted to try the draping swags and I thought the Fantasy Flower was cool looking but I like the small, single version of it best. The daisy is way more cool (and easy) in this method than in RI! Thanks for looking I thought it was a fun course,... but I wish there were more flowers! :) Enjoy.

Not really a wedding cake, but the course 3 final cake. I was a little lazy/busy and didnt r eally have time to make all of the fondant roses for this cake. Plus I am not a big fan of the plastic pillars, so I wanted to cover them up a little bit with some silk flowers.

Got this design from the new Wilton Course 4 Gumpaste book. Made it for my son's girlfriends birthday. The template provided was for an 8" round, however, I used a 9" round, so the handkerchief's weren't touching side-by-side as in the book. I added little heart candy in the box and attached the ribbon from 3 helium balloons up under the box.

This is my final cake for course 3. Used the MMF from this site and it turned out pretty good. Brought the cake into work and everyone love it but thought it was a waste of a beautiful cake.

This was my final cake for the Wilton Gumpaste & Fondant class. It was the first time that I made a flower pot cake. The icing was way too soft (cream cheese) and the cake collapsed. Good thing it wasn't for somebody else, just for the class! But it was fun :0)

I actually ended up having to make this cake at home because of scheduling conflicts so I didn't have any help from the instructor. I had a little difficulty with the flower placement and the rope border but all in all I think it came out pretty good!!

I learned a lot from this & I was surprised how fun it was to do the basketweave. I don't know how people put these together in the span of a two hour class! I'm so fortunate to have a great supportive instructor!

I hated these flowers so much when I was up all night making them but in the end they made a pretty cake and it was the basket weave that gave me a harder time.
