I made this wedding cake for my cousin's wedding. I had never done a wedding cake bafore so I learned everything from all of you and one wedding cake construction class! It went off without any problems except I didn't leave myself with enough time to do any scroll work on the sides. I was still pretty happy with it overall. The design is inspired by a cake by Tallmama. It is all buttercream.

Buttercream covered CASC, White Chocolate Cake and Carrot cakes. Buttercream details and red gumpaste rose topper. These are my test roses from 2 months ago and they stayed red, red. I'm so happy about that. They are tinged with black.

This was my first wedding cake ever. It took a lot of work. It was an outside wedding, and I was afraid it was going to melt. I made the cake on site, which was a good thing since we set up the rest of the wedding three times! This was frosted in buttercream icing with edible pearls. Real flowers and greenery were used to decorate. I also used a diamond design in the side. (More greenery was used to hide the flower holder on the top of the cake.)

This is the wedding cake I made recently for my son's wedding. I was pretty intimidated - hadn't made a cake in 3 yrs and never done scrolls - but it turned out ok, I think! The cake is french vanilla with lemon and almond flavor, icing is buttercream.

This was my first wedding cake. White cake with bavarian cream filling. Ivory MMF. The florist was supposed to make a topper but didn't. I used extra wedding flowers from a box. I'm still thanking God that it worked out!!!

The cake is chocolate fudge and french vanilla alternating layers, to give the black and white look when served. It is iced with buttercream and decorate with artifical flowers provided by the bride. What do you think?

Made especially for my son and his bride for their wedding. This garden theme cake consisted of 4 square tiers. Two tiers were decorated using a round tip white basket weave. The cake was accented with yellow gerber daisies, mini hydrageas, and greenery all hand-made with fondant/gumpaste. For the top, the bride choose a simple arch adorned with flowers. A wire fruit bowl was used to create the base. Painted white and turned upside down it fit perfectly into this garden tthemed wedding!

this one terrified me, but it turned out great. Bride wanted flowers on the middle section for whimsy and boy, I think I might fall in love with Sugar paste - my first flowers - lilies are easy to do and so pretty!

This was for my first real wedding! Also my first four tier cake. After almost having a heart attack, and worrying myself sick, I was pretty pleased with the final result. The top and bottom tiers were Red Velvet, one was lemon, and one strawberry. All were covered in cream cheese frosting. Snowflakes were royal icing, and the topper was a Christmas ornament that belonged to the bride.
