For a culinary school graduate. Everything is edible, except the wire glasses. Gumpaste chef with EI houndstooth pants and wafer paper toque. All on a 10x10x2 cake.

Was actually made for my grandpa. He loves mowing grass, his veg garden, pciking apples from apple trees, and his sidekick aka dog Kenzie. So i incorporated all that in a cake. Notice what the tree says (him and his wife's name craved in tree)

Everything is completely edible. The soil is choc oreos and the vegies are made from Fondant.

Everything is edible: fudge sticks for the railroad ties, vanilla wafers for the stepping stones, pretzels for the fence, crushed graham crackers for the paths, and crushed chocolate teddy grahams for the dirt in the beds. All other decorations are either fondant or gumpaste. Vines and flowers are buttercream. Cake is dark chocolate mayonnaise cake with vanilla buttercream icing. (For those who think mayo cake sounds a bit odd, or just downright disgusting, it takes the place of oil and eggs in the cake batter and is absolutely FABULOUS.)

I made this for my brother who is a farmer. It is a combination of fondant and modeling chocolate. Thanks to all the cc'ers for the basket inspiration!

.I made this cake for our local farmer's market..I'm a baker and a famer so this cake is special becuase it combined the 2 things I love the most. The cake was for our 86 year old market manager, Miss Peggy, who was retiring. The bottom is an 8" square and the top is a 6" sculpted cake. The bottom is buttercream airbrushed to look like wood with a fondant tablecloth. The top cake has fondant airbrushed "wood strips" and all the veggies are modeling chocolate.

Mar '12. Vegetable garden cake I made for a lady who is retiring at work. She is a very well known vegetable gardener and LOVES her B&W chihuhua :) The vegetables are mostly made from fruit tootsie rolls but also a few starburts and jolly rancher chews. The fruit tootsies were def the easiest to mold but with warm hands they became very sticky very quickly!

I was asked to make this for a real fan of the facebook game Farmville. All elements are edible and fondant except the 'soil' which is crumbled chocolate cake mixed with chocolate spread.

This is a joint birthday cake that I made. It is a maderia sponge cake decorated with fondant icing and homemade fondant figures. I made the vegetable patches out of fondant along with all of the other figures.
