This was a sheetcake that had fondant wood sides. This cake was done early on in my cake-decorating career... if I did it again, I'd have a smooth "wagon".

Made this cake for a little boy turning 1. His mom wanted a cake of his favorite ride on toy. It's not elevated with wheels underneath, I thought that would be more than I could chew for sure. So I made the back flat. 11x15 cake with 10" round cut in half covered in bc and fondant. TFL

For my newborn nephew Noah, I made this cake with cute cuddly animals for him! My brother and sister in law were very happy with it, but my little cousin Emma LOVED it, each of the animals were taken off and kissed ;-) :-D
The cake is Vanilla Sponge Cake filled with SMBC with raspberry, a layer of lemon curd and lots of fresh raspberries in it. The covering is made of marsefond (a mix of fondant and marzapan). The animals all are made of fondant with tylose (modelling paste).

Made by request for my dad John, his 71st birthday. He lives for tractors, This is how I remembered him when I was a child. I made the JD "A" tractor, trailer, gas can, watering can, shovel and vegetables out of gumpaste and fondant. The rest is buttercream with a 4 layer cake dyed green and yellow (John deere colors). I never had schooling, it was a labor of love all by hand. Very time consuming but I was happy with the end result.

These were the decorations made for the baby boy cake I did for a friend. My first time to make baby items or any 3D figures. I know there not perfect & there are a lot of flaws, but I was pleased and my friend loved it. Guess that's all that matters.

For my boss's son. I used a pic from Google to base it on. Carved from a 9X13 using the scraps to make the barrell and other 3D effects. The "bullets" around the sides are rolled wafer cookies dipped in orange colored chocolate then blue buttercream with a blue m&m for the tip.
