Cooked the cake for the engine in an can to get the tube shap and the rest in cut and trimmed cake baked in bread pans. Coal is oreo cookies crumbled, smoke is marshmallows, wheels are oreo cookies. BC icing mostlt done with star tip. Tracks are Kit Kat with grahm craker ballast. Fun cake the kids loved.

My dad has been building a huge garage for some time now. I decided to build a replica of it and put his toys in it, His truck, VW Bug, Hudson. tractor, quad, BBQ, and some tools. along with the gravel driveway

This was made for a little girl's 3rd birthday party. The purse topper was a gum paste replica of the party invitation. Also on the top were gum paste toys the mom asked me to include in the cake (pink cell phone, ChapStick and princess dress-up shoes). The bow and plaque were 50/50 gum paste and fondant. This was a fun one to do...I loved the colors. The cake was white (I colored it pink for fun) with layers of vanilla SMBC. It was also iced in SMBC. Thanks for looking!

Cake for my son's first birthday. Chipotle mud cake with chipotle dark chocolate ganache, cinnamon milk chocolate cake with mild chocolate cinnamon ganache, and white chocolate WASC with white chocolate IMBC. Fondant decorations and accents, TFL!

Groom's cake created for a fireman as a surprise from the Bride. All decorations are MMF (fondant), dragees, piping gel and rice paper for the vehicle emblem. Thanks for looking!

My attempt at Michelle Sauer's (thanks michelle for your help!) buzz lightyear. Once I layed the fondant...I realized I had forgotten to do the lips...Oh well, live and learn! Thanks for looking!

This is the cake I entered into our county fair for their character cake competition (first time entering). Cake form used (equal to a 1/4 sheet cake halved and stacked.) Head/foot boards and Curious George are gumpaste, all other details are fondant. Thanks for looking! The number of cake entries at our fair has really increased over the past few years. This year there were about 20 cakes (a guess) and everyone did a great job. Congrats to all who entered!

Made a cake for my friends baby shower as her gift since I had all the ingredient left from the last one. This is only my second cake. Chocolate Cake with Swiss Meringue Buttercream! This one tasted REALLY good!!! Thank you disp4so for making the original cake and creating the inspiration for this one.

This cake was done using a vanilla sheet cake and buttercream icing. Used blue for the water and white for the bubbles. Used a small slice of cake to make the "soap".

Had some trouble with coming up with a buzz cake so here is what I did: Buzz is a toy on top of a 10 inch round cake covered in fondant. Crater holes were make by pushing the end of dowels into the cake. Cupcakes were inspired by the spaceship cupcakes in the Cupcake Fun book by Wilton. Cupcakes were made to look like the little green men from toy story.

I made this for my son's 3rd birthday. I also made matching alien cupcakes. The pan was a Wilton Astronaunt/spaceman pan 1978. The face is a buttercream transfer.

My daughter had seen the one that claire_d made and was bugging me for a year to make it for her. So I promised to do it for her third birthday, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, it didn't happen and she didn't let me forget! So I did it for her for Thanksgiving when we could share the cake with the whole family! It's a peanut butter cake and a chocolate fudge cake with peanut butter chocolate filling covered with BC Dream and Fondx. The handset is RKT (I still need practice molding that).

First birthday, inspired by the work of socake. TFL. my 8 year old daugter made the bear. The ball was made by making a yellow,orange,red,blue and green ball. then cuted them into quaters then stick each of the different colour together. the birthday boy squashed the ball after singing happy birthday

Gumpaste rope and stars. Everything else is fondant. This was a lot of fun to make! Thanks for looking! OK, just returned from the party, where a woman asked if I would make this cake for her. For $40. I love people with a sense of humor!

I got this idea from Thanh Thanh on here. Mine doesn't look as good as her's but still did ok. Ball cake pan, Fondant sack with luster duster for sparkle, presents are chocolates.
