This was for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves the Toy Story movies and specifically requested a Jessie cake. Cake is 10" yellow with lemon cream cheese and strawberry fillings and 6" chocolate with ganache and cookies and cream fillings. Cake is iced in white chocolate buttercream and covered in homemade fondant. Jessie, her hat and the badge are molded from a mixture of fondant and gumpaste. Features and chaps are painted with gel food color. Cake accents are fondant and grass is piped royal icing.

This was a cake for a relative of mine. She wanted it to be from the kids, because tomorrow is their last day at the child care center. I would have loved to have covered the whole cake in fondant (cause i need to work on my buttercream smoothing) but ran out of fondant;-( I tried my best at the characters (thanks aine2 for inspiration) but I think thay would have come out better with the 50/50 fondant gumpaste. I just used fondant. Thanks for looking;-)

I made this for my son Jeremy who it totally in love with Woody. He watches the movie Toy Story at least 3 times a day. I was looking for inspiration on line and found a cake just like it at crazyamyscakes. My son loved it and even though I was trying to save the figurines for a dummy cake, he finally sneaked up on my and ate Woody up. Thanks for looking!

This cake was for a "Nana" Shower for a lady who just became a grandma to 3 adopted children. They wanted to help the family with clothes & toys since their family had grown so quickly. Rocking chair is a Wilton pattern, made with gumpaste & lollipop sticks. The rest of the idea was all my own, for a change : ). My daughter made all of the toys. Edge of blanket dusted with pearl dust. All is on a fondant covered board. The cake is covered in buttercream(my first Viva smoothed cake…thanks CC’ers).

All of the figures are toys. :) The cake is 4 sheet cakes that I bought from the store. . I used a knife to "draw" on the lines before starting. The icing is Wilton's ready to use buttercream. I used left over cake for the pillows. I piped everything on and then smoothed it all out. It was really easy and they kids loved it. :) Some one has already had a taste. lol.

My great nephew wanted a Buzz cake so here is my effort, thanks to all CC cakes I got inspiration from. I feel like I cheated by using a Buzz figure, but after the attempt at the spaceship it just had to be... bottom is 1/2 sheet Chocolate Almond Sour Cream Wedding Cake recipe with buttecream icing, spaceship is the WASC covered in fondant (haven't done the fondant since the Wilton class as you can tell) details are fondant. Thanks for looking!

This cake is 25 X 24 Almond Cheese cake covered in BC and Fondant. Cottage is all made with fondant and gumpaste, the roof tiles are done with a texture rolling pin, all figures including Santa's sleight are edible and hand sculpted. Snow is made with RI and BC accented with edible glitter. The only non-edible items on the cake are the lights and the 3 trees on the back of the cake. I lost count of how many hours I worked on this cake. Cake is very heavy! sits on a plywood base. Thank you for looking.
